Will interesting to see how he handles it. He can’t be feeling comfortable like he has in most of his games. Could be a very low scoring game.

I can't really "cheer" for either team. I don't generally hate Miami, I'm too young to have lived through "Catholics Vs. Convicts," but I don't like Carson Beck, at all. I don't care for Cignetti, don't care about Indiana in general, and I like Fernando Mendoza. Either way, I don't care. I also don't live in Indiana and don't have to live around Hoosier bandwagoners who would talk a lot of shit. Just let it be entertaining.
Same here. Miami is definitely more annoying. I did grow up during Catholics VS Convicts & as a kid I saw it as “Good Guys (ND) vs Bad Guys (U)”. Especially after Johnson kept running up the score in Faust’s last game. Then you had Lou getting ND to contender status and it was on. Miami & their fans are easily the biggest combo of front runners in CFB. The team isn’t as bad as the 80s when they embraced the outlaw/thug reputation. Then when some ND students countered w/ a tshirt celebrating the rivalry, they cried “racism”. Fast forward to the new age of social media and their fans have come out of the woodwork this year. I’ve never noticed them in the past decade but now it’s like they‘ve been here the whole time. Always want their cake & eat it too w/ zero blowback.

IU is right now operating at a higher level than Miami. Miami was lucky to hold them to 3. I'm also not a fan of the DB dropping a pick and then getting up and doing the Macarena.

IU’s undersized DL vs Miami’s OL is Miami’s biggest advantage imo. Why are they throwing 3 straight passes.
I just don’t see Beck picking apart the Indiana zone defense. So far Miamis receivers don’t look like they’re very good at seeing and sitting down in the holes in the zone d as well.

Micheal Irvin looked uncharacteristically calm during the coming flip.

That was disappointing.

If there is anything this college football playoff has taught me (in relation to ND) is that we allowed two completely average college QB’s in Carson Beck and Marcell Reed to play almost flawless football against us.
Beck 200+ yards 90 QBR
Reed almost 400+ total yards, and 85 QBR

This defense was way too good for that to have happened, and it’s going to eat at me for the rest of my time on this earth, and think about this 2025 ND season.

Toney is the slowest quickest player ever. It’s uncanny how slow he is to go with elite quickness

I don't know, they're not getting any push at all. If they can't win those kinds of trench battles on third and short they have zero shot.

Knowing that and the fact that ND is top 9 in every poll except the CFP feels criminal.

I just don’t get how IU’s front 7 is so good. They are undersized and not super athletic. Michigan-esque sign stealing seems somewhat reasonable imo.

It was a set of coaching mistakes. It is what it is. If Golden had stayed, it wouldn't have happened. Still shouldn't have happened, of course.

Man, if I wasn't sure who I was rooting for going into this game, Miami made that decision a lot easier.

Absolutely dirty on that hit on Mendoza.
