Some of you all need to get out of Indiana. Yes they're having a great run. It'll pass. Probably next year. Certainly whenever Cignetti moves along. They are not some existential threat to Notre Dame football; they are a basketball school that made a really good hire.
ND should schedule them for rivalry round.

I would say Oregon fits that bill much more. They're definitely not a blue blood but I think anyone under the age of 30 would be surprised at how much they came out of nowhere. If not for the logo joke, I think a lot of younger people would be surprised that they've never won a NC (nevermind that they have six less NCs than Pitt).
The only thing I associated w/ them was that Dan Fouts played there. I think Bobby Moore (aka Ahmad Rashad) did, too.

IU's Mark Cuban money shouldn't be ignored. I do think Cignetti relies too heavily on the portal. Eventually, they are going to miss on some of these guys.

Because
There's no way this dude is not a ton of fun.

I have to admit when I saw his post-game interview last week and his presence post their last round CFP game, I thought to myself, if MF ever does leave for the NFL, he could be a great coach for ND; but I also remembered that he and his wife went to and born and bred Ole Miss, so who knows when/if he would ever leave except for the NFL, if he too should get that opportunity.

Yeah, I think it'd be a reverse BK scenario - a good ol' boy trying to hack it in Yankeeland.

I'm glad the dementia helped you forget your "foolish" take on the playoff situation. Since when have we lost recruits/transfers to IU?
I was not foolish; I actually thought there was integrity in the committee which I was very wrong about
meanwhile fools like you are allowed outside without straightjackets; that is a crime

Up till now he has had to rely on the portal; now if he can win a Natty he can recruit better
They have been pretty clear they have little to no interest in high school kids. One of his assistants made some comments today to. Something about why go with some 5 star who's proven nothing when you can get a kid who's already shown they can produce.

On thisday of the Fiesta Bowl (Thursday!?) these two teams have been greeted with rain and hail in Phoenix Arizona.

Can't wait for 2 hours of commercials with some sporadic football in between tonight.

Rooting for Ole Miss, but just saw a feature on Golding pregame. What a dickhead.

Like he’s trying to channel the smugness of Saban, the in your face of Kirby and the cockiness of Kiffen.

Pulling for them to win tonight and the lose to Oregon in the championship.

They need to either change the transfer portal calendar or shorten the playoffs. May be just me but it feels like now that the portal is open no one really cares about the playoffs unless your team is playing.

Great example of why college OCs are overpaid. 3rd down empty wildcat when you are absolutely shitting on them up front putting them in a phone booth.

I am not sure they mean that; sounds like a way for short term success vs long term stability

This dude is a 5th year senior, that they paid $4.5 million to come play QB.

They just did a surrender run on 3rd and 14th, knowing Beck might fuck it up

Ole Miss’ defense is trash. Has been all year but their schedule broke just right.
