They’re going to keep them all clumped up until the last possible moment. Big 12, ACC, and G5 are all getting a single bid. 3-4 bids will go to Big Ten, depending on if there are any upsets. Let’s call it 4.

So you’re at 7 + ND. That leaves room for 4 SEC. TAMU/TEX is huge. If Texas wins that, it becomes clear who the 4 are going to be baring other crazy upsets. If TAMU wins it becomes chaos.

If OSU beats IU, I think 7 is the ceiling unless Penn State loses.

If OSU beats Oregon in BIGCG, it'll likely be 5 Oregon, 6 Penn State, 7 ND.

If Oregon wins, I don't think committee will ignore OSU vs psu head to head so OSU will be a two loss 5 seed solely bc these assholes ranked Penn State too high from the outset. And if they don't "punish" OSU for a conference title game loss, they may be inclined not to "punish" the SEC loser either.

Who the hell knows what they'll do. This ridiculous Penn State ranking is fucking everyone over. That's all I know.

OSU losing to IU would also harm Penn State’s resume. Maybe enough to drop both PSU and OSU behind ND.
