Tommy's bad a stringing ND Dreamers along when he's chasing the Carr's of the world. He lost control of Sayin and Puglisi was a confirmed Pickett/Leary type.

There are a bunch of '25 - '26 kids who he could have eating out of his hand but he's probably not... if his record is any indication of future performance.

Like I said... if past performance is any indication, it probably is and there are a bunch of '26 kids who you should be writing up but... since there's no news being reported by the industry outlets, there's nothing to share. By the time there is, kids like Jonas Williams, Owen Lansu, Bo Polston, Terry Walker, Brady Smigel, Jackson Presley end up the next Brady Allen, JJ McCarthy, Devin Leary & Kenny Pickett.

Hopefully that changes when Rees and all of the bad habits he learned under BK moves on after the season.

I think Carr knows that a starting QB at ND (if he's even remotely good) would make a crap load in NIL money. The right way.

Literally can't happen at ND, CJ Carr is a top 5 QB. If you're the #17 QB, would you go to ND to be #2 with small NIL prospects or go to South Carolina and get something AND be the guy. Not even a remotely feasible strategy at ND in the NIL world, let alone before that.

I actually think that Carr is a rare example of a highest-level recruit who might not be as moved by NIL. Of course he could leave for any number of reasons, but I don’t think money is a concern for him or his parents.

The problem is that he’s a rare example.
