I always try to look at each week with my head rather than my heart. I am a long-time former coach, and it's hard for me to look at anything other than the weakness of the matchup. The attention and narrative on the team has changed for the worse. We are better as the underdog, and no one believes-in-us mentality. I can't stand how now all the national media is blowing smoke up their asses. Rat poison as cheating ass Saban would say.
We have been so fortunate with turnovers that I am worried that will change this game. I love Jadarian Price, but he is not Jerimiah Love, one of the best players in the nation. He will put the ball on the ground. I just think Love's loss will be too much to finally overcome. Williams is so solid as a freshman but hasn't shown any flash ability. Do I think we are better than PSU? Yes, when reasonably healthy. But we aren't.
I think Allar is average, but their running back duo and TE are big-time legit. Their defense is very solid, as well. The path to get past them is Leonard throwing the ball accurately, and I just haven't seen that consistently enough. I also don't believe we can continue to run right at the middle of the defense. Some wide zones would be effective plus some deep shots in the passing game. Man, I hope I am wrong but I see the Irish with a couple of turnovers and dropping this to those pedophile cocksuckers 24-17. Go Irish!
