I mean if this is just ask Bishop questions hour,

Bishop if I am looking at a prs mccarty why would I choose the one with F holes over the full solid body. What do f holes give me in an otherwise solid body chunk as opposed to like a jazz box?

I can take my answer off line :)

Thanks, but I'm not mad. Not even particularly bothered by my team's loss today. I wrote this season off several weeks ago and never expected much with a new staff. My OP today is 100% motivated by having a rather high opinion of ND and finding all the glee and celebrating over Bama and the SEC having an off year to be a very bad look. It doesn't hurt my feelings. It disappoints me in you guys. It's what I would expect from fans of a lesser program, not a blueblood. My point can be summed up in a question I asked earlier: do you want to win because your opponent slowed down or because you got faster?
Ignoring the context and the actual thing people are happy about is pretty weak. This is not a Paul-Tyson scenario.

Is this an Alabama blog too? why does anyone care about a team that can't buy players by themselves anymore, and the supposed best coach ever quit because of it?
That was sort of my point. You guys were the ones talking about Bama and the SEC and being so giddy about them having a mediocre year. Forkbeard and I just asked where they'd hurt you so badly to cause such celebration. If they hadn't hurt you and you weren't insecure about them, you'd just shrug and go "Meh. Who cares." Apparently I struck a serious nerve with a small handful who don't like having their insecurities and bad attitude pointed out.

What a snooze fest.
Not sure if it’s the play by play voice, but this game is putting me to sleep.

Everyone In CFB is and should be a little insecure about the SEC. ESPN, Fox, most in game commentators have a strangle hold on SEC football favoritism.
I think most of us are just exhausted with SEC/Alabama, and It doesn't help with BK going to LSU and saying what he did.
I'm sure Alabama will be back. We just want to enjoy a changing of the guard if it happens

I think it’s weird to try to spin message board drivel into an indictment on our collective “insecurities”, but OK. Happy New Year 🤷🏻‍♂️

You're defending being envious and whining about others' success instead aiming to surpass it. A lot of people here will recognize the truth when they hear it and realize that what I've pointed out is a bad approach and attitude, and a very bad look for ND fans. A few will just get butthurt over it.

Schadenfreude re: the SEC (particularly this season) has very little to do with jealousy of, or hating on success.
The current situation is entirely of their own making. The coaches, ADs , SEC media machine and pundits have been relentlessly hawking this narrative of the martyred, omitted teams and have been overtly disparaging and devaluing other programs (including ours by association) throughout this process. IMO all this noise has overbearing, and actively decreased the joy of watching college football this season. If the SEC wants less flak, they should stop acting like such a toxic clique conference.

I got to agree. The SEC brought this ire on themselves. The idea that every SEC team is better than any other conference team because they are in the SEC is garbage. Every year the bowl games show the SEC isnt unbeatable. Yet every pre season it starts again. Guaranteed top 5 teams no matter what. Watch, Bama will be top ten next year pre season despite losing the way they did this year.

i agree that the SEC has a ton of talent. Probably the best conference top to bottom over the last decade or so but that still doesnt mean everyone else is second tier.

Yeah I don't think you get it Bishop. No one was complaining when you guys were at the top. It's the constant talk of how great the sec is and they deserved these spots and Indiana and SMU had no right being there. You could watch the games and see that the sec is down they just are this isn't 2 years ago or 5 years ago it's a narrative that ESPN is pushing because they got the sec on the tail end of their run

And Sabans bama is an anomaly in CFB. Throughout history teams have these 4-6 year runs usually. The Miami's the USC's even the early 2000s Florida's. You can see how Georgia is on the tail end of theirs and Clemson is out of theirs. He went like 16 years of dominance

Bishop being so arrogant about how much we’re “embarrassing” ourselves and totally patronizing us is honestly way more embarrassing than any amount of celebrating over the SECs hubris this year could be. Truly incredible to watch.

How long did he mourn the loss of his faithful dog? A week?

I felt guilty getting another one for my son 3 months later.
Seems like Herby's cried more on national TV than any woman in the history of movies.
Strange guy.
