Vernon probably ends up as a 6-4 280 DE. Makes more sense why the staff wasn’t as aggressive looking for edges as we thought they should have been. Vernon, Zinter, and Traore are likely all Ends.

He’s still pretty raw with his hand usage and footwork. He may play at some point, but he is likely to preserve a redshirt this year.

I think 2 TDs technically are against Bowen and 2 on Bell.

Moore doing it on purpose?

Running a RB swing on the goal line with a pick play on the LB (Bowen) seems like a bit much for the AA game but Moore is just operating like this is a legit game rn.

My big take away is that I understand why they went all in on Dante Moore… good grief is he polished with NFL traits.

He missed a tackle on a basic up the middle run that sprung a huge run.

It’s no exaggeration to say he’s looked awful out there. Tough and he’s hurt it seems but he looks flat out bad if we’re being honest.

Not gonna takeaway much if the knee is really hampering him which I gotta assume. If he’s healthy, it’s something to watch if his agility does not hold up.

I think the issue is that he has not looked very athletic even in comparison to the other linebackers playing.

I mentioned it after the IHSAA state finals but he didn’t stand out at all in 2A Indiana football. I’m genuinely concerned that he will never see the field at ND.
