LAST WEEK OF THE REGULAR SEASON.

College football, you leave us too soon. We wait for months for your return, and then you are gone in what feels like a moment.

So let us enjoy cheering for the Irish one last time for the regular season, and then see where they end up during bowl season (likely the Gator Bowl against an SEC squad, or the Holiday Bowl against a PAC12 squad).

We can also enjoy quite a few other matchups this week/weekend, hoping and watching for chaos between tonight, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Saturday. It's rivalry week, so maybe things will get entertainingly weird.

Who knows... if enough teams in the teens and lower half of the top-10 are victims of upsets, perhaps ND can still sneak in the NY6? Tonight's CFP rankings will give us a better idea in that regard, so make sure to keep an eye on them during high-stakes #MACtion.

- Chuck Martin's guys host Ball State in a battle for end-of-season pride. This is commercial fodder for the main event...
- HIGH STAKES #MACTION. Bowling Green. Ohio. Winner hosts the #MACtion championship next Saturday. We are blessed with Tuesday nights in the MAC.

- Go Bearcats. The winner hosts the AAC championship. The loser is dropped into what is potentially a three-way tie for the other spot. Scenarios are crazy.
- Baylor *almost* spoiled the whole damn thing for TCU last week. They can console themselves by spoiling Texas' chances at a spot in the Big 12 'chip.
- Toledo has already locked up their spot in the MAC 'chip. It will be interesting to see how they handle this game personnel-wise.

- North Carolina rivalry week... but UNC is already locked into a date with Clemson for the ACC 'chip. I expect a full effort here based on their hopes for a NY6 bowl, though.
- Bonus "SEC on CBS" this weekend!
- Iowa is suddenly trying to play offense, rather than just punting every fourth play. Bold strategy. It should pay off against overmatched Nebraska.
- UCLA is eliminated from the Pac12 championship race, so enjoy watching 34-year-old DTR in what could be his final game in a UCLA uniform.

- Can we get one last late-night fog alert during a Fresno game???

- Georgia gets a pre-SEC championship warmup.
- scUM visits the Shoe, hoping to impose their will on the Buckeyes like they did last year... I think you're going to see a very chippy game.
- Upset Alert??? South Carolina exploded for 60+ last week against Tennessee... where has that been all year, Spencer Rattler? Dabo is sweating.
- Cross-country trip for WVU, commercial break fodder.
- BTN commercial break fodder.
- #FUNBELT intrigue! Winner secures a trip to the Sun Belt championship, against either Troy or South Alabama.

- The KY rivalry is usually stupid football disguised as great entertainment.
- The Iron Bowl! Alabama has some issues, and Auburn has nothing to lose + Cadillac Williams as interim coach. Let's get weird.
- Civil War. Oregon needs a win to play USC in the PAC12 championship.
- Row the Boat one last time this season... or watch Wisconsin turn PJ Fleck into an awkward villain one last time for the year.
- For the Indiana residents of the board.
- Mike Elko's boys have been fun to watch all year, though the only negative is that he lost to Narduzzi last week. Let's see how the Elko defense handles Wake's slow mesh.
- MATT CAMPBELL GET UP FOR YOUR YEARLY UPSET. Iowa State is always good for one WTF win. Is now the time???
- Sparty's got dudes going to jail, a head coach scamming the whole athletic department, and a matchup with Penn State's amazing freshmen RB's... what a wild ride.

- GO IRISH. BEAT TROJANS. Run the ball. Keep Williams off the field. Hit him when he's on the field. Turn their turnover luck on its head. Ruin their CFP hopes.
- BK has been blessed with 'win and you're in' position by the CFP committee... would be a real shame if Jimbo and A&M got their act together for this one.
- Only here because of the 1% chance UCF blows it and opens the door for someone else making the AAC championship.
- Clark Lea and Vandy are hot! Bowl eligible with a win! Tennessee is playing Joe Milton at QB! Let's get weird!
- There's only so much football left, and I really don't have desire to watch either of these teams... but it's better than Syr/BC or Tulsa/Hou
- Another in-state rivalry to be settled... Kansas is ahead of schedule, but got drubbed by Tejas last week. Did they save some goodies for their friends in Manhattan?

- Old friends BYU visit other old friends Stanford. Stanford is bad. More annoying every week that ND lost to them. Root for BYU.

Sorry folks, that was supposed to be posted yesterday, but my draft had too many image/characters with the ESPN table formatting. I’ll add the late games to the table tonight.

Bump. Added notes for Saturday afternoon games, and added the late/night cap games.

Not sure if he's been a steady presence all year, but Lawrence Keys getting a few touches early for Tulane against UC.

Tyjae Spears of Tulane is very impressive at running back... uses great patience and really good burst to avoid tacklers, or to at least lean forward for positive yards through contact. He's one of those guys that doesn't fall backwards, but instead seems to pick up 2 extra yards at the end of every run.

I'm starting to think that Caleb Williams' big game against UCLA had more to do with UCLA's defense being a steaming dumpster fire.

In one half, Plummer already has nearly the same number of yards that he had in 1 game against us. 173 yards on 15 passes and 3 TDs...in 1 half. It's remarkable how you give up 21 points when Cal has only ran 26 plays in the first half and has no real semblance of a run game.

This is looking to be the 4th straight game in which UCLA's opposing QB is having arguably his best game on the year.

Poor kid just looked like he was in his own head. NCST down to their 4th QB this year and still competing.
Surprised but not really that Mack took a shot at the end zone on that third and short.

Too bad for that kicker. I mean dude already missed one chip shot so his coach puts the game on him? Ouch.

Yeah, if he hits the one earlier, UNC wins in regulation.

Michigan needs to get set on D. They’ve been largely okay outside of the free yards.

Miyan Williams, OSU RB #3, has very poor vision. He's missed multiple holes and cuts that could've led to solid gains. On the possession that just ended in TOD, he had an easy first but made a bad read and was tackled a few yards short on 3D.

No reason to blitz the house. You made it EASIER for JJ. He was already rattled. Now all you did was make him rely on instincts and get it out quickly to 1 - 1?!?

Just coming to say this. Was that as bad a decision as our double S blitz?

was hoping the buckeyes would give scUM a beatdown today but the wolverines are playing good defense and now a big pass down the field for a TD to tie the game
