I just want to say one thing to the frequent Watch Party posters and everybody in IE Nation. I'm sorry. Extremely sorry that this is being posted on Friday instead of Wednesday. We were hoping for watch party threads to be posted every Wednesday without delay. That was my goal. It's something I've never done here. But I promise you one thing: a lot of good will come out of this.

You have never seen any poster on the entire internet post Watch Party threads as timely as I will post them the rest of this season, and you'll never see a poster push the rest of the forum the way I will push IE the rest of this season. You'll never see a message board be more Online than IE will be the rest of the season.

God bless.

(The Friday night slate is better than Saturday's early slate. Saturday's early slate is a heaping pile of trash... which means it will end up being off-the-chain fun, probably.

Really, the entirety of Saturday's schedule appears kind of underwhelming at first glance, so we'll try to find matchups that are interesting for various reasons. Outside of one big afternoon matchup and two big nighttime matchups, the lack of top-25 matchups this late in the season feels weird.

Either way, we will have 8[!] matchups listed for the late window. The scheduling czars should have moved a couple of the late kicks to noon or 3:30 kicks to help balance an average slate of games.)

FRIDAY, NOV. 4

TimeMatchupCoverage
7:00PMUMass (+15.5) @ UConnCBSSN
7:00PMDuke (-10.5) @ Boston CollegeESPN2
10:30PM#23 Oregon State (+4.5) @ WashingtonESPN2

- I told you all in week one that UConn actually recruited a 4-star quarterback, and just as I thought, he has take over and been surprisingly decent. UConn has momentum after beating Boston College, and will get another win here. Hope you hit the over on their win total!
- #Pray4Phil... Elko is going to have Duke's defense coming at him from every direction... if he plays. He's day-to-day after getting banged up against UConn.
- Friday night cap! Oregon State is back in the top-25, while Washington gets a shot at redemption after falling off.

SATURDAY, NOV. 5 - EARLY

TimeMatchupCoverage
11:30AMAir Force (-7) @ ArmyCBS
12:00PMTexas Tech (+8.5) @ #7 TCUFOX
12:00PM#19 Tulane (-7.5) @ TulsaESPNU
12:00PMFlorida (+3) @ Texas A&MESPN
12:00PM#17 North Carolina (-7) @ VirginiaACCN

- Air Force takes the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy with a win.
- See if mounting pressure can get to TCU, or if they're really built to keep winning.
- With Cincy's loss to UCF, Tulane is officially the Group-of-5 darling for 2022. They need to win out for the NY6 spot.
- Matchup of two fanbases that are super mad at their coaches. I hope Florida wins.
- We will once again watch future ND QB Drake Maye do big things, while future ND OC Phil Longo keeps calling the Good Plays for him.

SATURDAY, NOV. 5 - AFTERNOON

TimeMatchupCoverage
3:30PM#1 Tennessee (+8) @ #3 GeorgiaCBS
3:30PM#8 Oregon (-31.5) @ ColoradoESPN
3:30PM#18 Oklahoma State (+1) @ KansasFS1
3:30PM#20 Syracuse (+4) @ PittsburghACCN
4:00PMNavy (+18.5) @ CincinnatiESPNU

- Biggest matchup the year so far! The loser could win out and still make the playoff... unless the winner loses to Bama in the SECCG. Things could get weird in the SEC!
- Oregon has been highly entertaining since the loss to UGA, averaging 40+ ppg, while turning in solid-enough defense to keep games out of reach.
- Kansas with huge upset potential here. Oklahoma State is either mad about getting whooped by Kansas State, or completely defeated. We'll see.
- Simply curious as to how Syracuse responds to the ND loss, and about which QB plays against Pitt. Also rooting for a Narduzzi meltdown is always good.
- Go Bearcats. (Scout Navy)

SATURDAY, NOV. 5 - LATE

TimeMatchupCoverage
7:30PMNOTRE DAME (+3.5) vs #4 CLEMSONNBC/Peacock
7:00PM#6 Alabama (-13.5) @ #10 LSUESPN
7:00PM#24 Texas (-2.5) @ #13 Kansas StateFS1
7:30PM#5 Michigan (-26) @ RutgersBTN
7:30PMSouth Carolina (-6.5) @ VanderbiltSECN
7:30PMJames Madison (+7) @ LouisvilleESPNU
7:30PMFlorida State (-7.5) @ Miami (FL)ABC
8:00PM#21 Wake Forest (-4) @ #22 NC StateACCN

- GO IRISH. BEAT TIGERS. Stop Clemson's run game, stop DJ U from scrambling, avoid turnover on offense. Win a low-scoring game, and hope Estimate and Diggs eventually break the dam.
- BIG MATCHUP FOR BK. His first true SEC headliner... if Tennessee/Georgia weren't the same day. Let's see how Saban handles BK in their first conference matchup.
- Kansas State responded to a loss to TCU by absolutely demolishing OK State. The Deuce is Loose, and might run all over Tejas.
- Gavin Wimsatt gets the start for Rutgers. Can the athletic youngster cause problems for scUM? Probably not, but let's hope!
- Clark Lea and Co. hos the Gamecocks. Let's see how is squad looks lately.
- James Madison LOST to our old friends Marshall last week. Louisville demolished Wake. College football is so wonderfully strange.
- This used to be a 'game of the week' type matchup. Now it's almost an afterthought, though it still gets national billing on ABC. Go Noles?
- Wake looks to bounce back after an uncharacteristic outing against Louisville. NC State had hype, but has mostly been 'meh' all year.

SATURDAY, NOV. 5 - NIGHT CAP

TimeMatchupCoverage
10:30PMCalifornia (+21.5) @ #9 USCESPN
10:30PM#12 UCLA (-11) @ Arizona StateFS1
10:30PMHawaii (+27.5) @ Fresno StateFS2

- USC gets Cal at home. The Bears miiiiiiight have enough defense in the secondary to cause USC trouble. Be on alert.
- UCLA got back on track in blowing out Stanford last week. ASU has been semi-competent since shit-canning Herm. Be on alert again.
- Another game to turn on during commercials if you're still awake and have FS2 as part of your cable/streaming package.

If I were betting $ this weekend, Clemson covering ND may be the easiest money. Still don’t get that point spread. Was hoping ND would be a huge underdog to fire them up but instead I suspect Clemson sees that point spread and treats it as a statement game to all their naysayers.

Saban rarely has a 2-loss regular season…give the points. Bright side is that I don’t mind BK pulling the upset if that happens

Advanced stats still thinks Texas is back. I’d take K-state as the home dog pulling the “upset”

Pitt is home favorite hosting SU who likely still won’t have Schrader healthy enough to go so I think The Crazy Narduzzis cover easily with their run game dominating SU the same way ND did.

SCum seemed to struggle more than expected w/ ASU last week but I think they bounce back this and cover the spread over Cal in the Coliseum.

I like WF to cover in a bounce back game vs NCST in Raleigh.

I believe UF has covered every game as an underdog. Let’s hope they do it Saturday and had Jimbo another loss. Go Gators!

I don't think UF fans are super mad at Napier ... yet. Better have a good recruiting year though.

Now A&M is a different story. And zero sympathy from me if some rich Texans have 80 million less money in January than they do now. Those oil companies are fairly profitable.

I know BC is REALLY bad…

But Elko might be the real deal as a head coach. Duke looks so competent and plays good, disciplined football. That’s a big deal for a first-time head coach and a team that wasn’t a stranger to getting blown out last year.

I will be really interested to track them next year and see how they handle roster turnover and how they look with more of Elko’s guys out there.

Brock Bowers has 2 receptions for 38 yards and no touchdowns against top 25 competition, and has less yards/receptions/touchdowns than Mayer overall. I'm going to be pissed if these numbers hold true and the ESPN machine robs Mayer of his Mackey.

Don’t leave out CBS. Every time they broadcast a UGA game, Danielson makes it a point to focus on every little nuance of Bowers play for purposes of promoting him as the greatest TE in the game.

Northwestern just marched the ball right down the field, running it for the most part to score on Ohio State.

Ohio State is really struggling to get anything consistent going against NW. Definitely not looking like a top five team.

I mean, OSU won’t play like this against UM…but if they do, Michigan will jailsex them.
