No it really just boils down to having a quarterback who can complete passes to someone other than his all-world tight end.
No you are wrong, your constant protection of Rees is noted. He has played a large role in our losses. That is beyond dispute. I cannot believe you think he is obsolved of any wrong and it is all on the QB he recruited, and is responsible for coaching. Serious blindside you have.

You literally treat him like Reesus.

Ooh, noted. Not that!

As an OC/playcaller/designer of offenses, Rees is fine. No better/worse than a lot of other OCs in major college football. I mean, look at Texas A&M FFS. They have all the players and can't do shit. And I don't think he's absolved of any wrong. He should have called plays for Buchner the way he did for Pyne in Pyne's first few games instead of having Buchner chuck it all over the field against Marshall, for instance. In general he should simplify his offense. The Rams, we ain't.

But when you have a QB missing wide open receivers on the regular, skipping screen passes in the dirt and locking in on a double (or triple) covered tight end for half his throws, that's on the QB. If we had a better QB, we'd score more points, and we'd probably have won at least two more games. It's not that complicated.

He is not a top 15 oc which is pathetic for a program like us. I could find more creative, less stubborn OC's all across the country. He failed at development which is his job, so anyway you move it still lands at his feet. Whether it is recruitment, development or playcalling. He is over his ski's.

I try to not engage you all who worship the dude, and I need to stop. I think I will try to convert some Mormons, that is easier. Have a good night!

Pretty bad result for Jimbo. A&M loses but Weigman looked fantastic. Which only draws the question why they didn’t go to him earlier
