I'm not sure there's an official thread yet, but I thought I'd kick it off.

What are you guys most looking forward to?
I'm wanting to see LB/DB development. Also want to see the oline getting a run game push.

Curious if we'll have WRs play for both teams given the numbers?

*update* - here are the early enrollees (per Singer)
QB Steve Angeli
LB Nolan Ziegler
LB Josh Burnham
CB Jaden Mickey
RB Jadarian Price
DE Tyson Ford
LB Jaylen Sneed
LB Niuafe Tuihalamaka
DE Aiden Gobaira
OL Billy Schrauth
OL Joey Tanona
DB Jayden Bellamy

I care about how Tyler Buchner looks as a pocket passer. I want to see 50 drop backs and no runs. Don’t care about anything else.

Yeah I’m sure that’s the coaches plan for the spring game and if takes off running it will be a 15 yard penalty on the offense.

Defensive Position Changes. So many guys are slightly to enormously out of position. Plus departures opening spots. I think EEs will help here. Move guys where they belong if you have freshman that may be able to contribute right away. Perfect example is Bertrand.

Current depth chart:

WILL: Bertrand - Kollie
MIKE: White - Bauer

Theoretical depth chart:

WILL: Liufau - Kollie - Burnham
MIKE: Bauer - Bertrand - JR

Justin A, Mills, Botelho, Bertrand, Watts, Henderson, Lewis are all examples of guys that either need to move (Bertrand), they should evaluate a move (Lewis) or can move do to openings (Mills).

Agreed. I would even let Mike be open and let someone earn it in camp. Bauer missed quite a few tackles in the bowl game, but also this season IMO. Then again LB play was not great in the bowl game either.

I'm really hoping that they are having a coach's clinic this year in the spring. I've been to a few of them and have always enjoyed the format and a chance to get a peek at the squad heading into the summer.

Anybody in the know hearing if they're going to have one this spring?

Where do you suggest these guys go? I think both of these guys either HAVE or WILL be nice safeties. I really like Henderson's length and run. Watts, from the little we saw him look to be able to tackle in space and explode. Good FS/SS combo there.

Watts/Henderson more of just a continuation of the moves they already made. Idk if they really trained Watts in a certain S spot but I guess permanently moving them to what they’ve already begun is all is needed

Botelho I don’t know what they imagine is best. I suppose Foskey somewhat may play into that. What they think is best for Justin A too.

If Rees was smart... he would have TB watching every pass-play Book ever took behind center -'19/'20. Book's pocket presence increased dramatically his last two years.

The WR's and Corners need to be battling each other 100% of the time in every drill, and even beyond that.

The offense is in their "No-Huddle Against Air" drill to open their session? Lewis, Bracy and Hart are in press man coverage against the receivers anyway.

The corner group is jogging to the water cooler for a break? The WR group better be sprinting past them, while Colzie is posterizing one of the young corners on a jump ball thrown into the bench area by a random student manager.

Styles' roommate is tossing him a PS5 controller for a game of Madden in the dorms? Jaden Mickey dives in through the window and swats the controller away to show that he wants early PT.

COMPETITION AT ALL TIMES.

Why Did the article neglect to list all the EE WR’s?

I don't know - I noticed that last week before the game. I was thinking to myself (after watching some highlights) Tobias Merriweather is going to be a great addition to the WR core and was wishing he could have graduated a year earlier!!!

Looking forward to a stress free ND game while able to see so many different players playing. Good news is Notre Dame doesn’t lose this game so no stress for me. Don’t want any injuries and hope someone emerges. Want to see more of Estime. Hoping he is the bull runner we were hoping for.
