Speaking of the Pirate what happened to KJ Costello? Did he get hurt?

He was hurt vs Bama. I read this though from the Pirate, which makes me think Costello may not be Leach's favorite.

On if quarterback K.J. Costello has been practicing: "He comes and goes. We'll see (if he plays the rest of this year). We'll just have to battle it out and see who comes to the top."

Looked up the game and BCEagles.com reports that PJ was injured in the third quarter and did not return for the rest of the game. No info on type of injury in the article.

You guys probably saw the headline of Jaret Patterson of buffalo rushing for 409 yards and 8 touchdowns, but he also ran for 301 yards last week. He had 920 yards in 4 games on the season.

Yeah, they have a solid defense and some OK pieces on offense but they're absolutely who you hope ND gets to play in the playoffs relative to Clemson-Bama-Ohio State. I think they are less dangerous than Florida when you look at overall team talent.

Yup. I'd much rather play TAMU than FL.... It took a near perfect game from Mond, and a very late fumble from FL for TAMU to win that game. Hats off to TAMU, but they're very streaky. FL is pretty darn consistent, and darn good on O. Trask is playing lights out.

If Bama beats Florida, ND beats Clemson, and Ohio St cancels Michigan St next weekend and cannot get into conference title game, then it would be:

1. Bama
2. ND
3. Texas A&M
4. Cincinnati

right?

Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma all with at least 2 losses in this scenario.

Ohio St would be 6-0, not play in their conference championship, and best wins again Indiana and #2 in the West - Iowa?

A&M would be 8-1 with a win over East champ Florida.

Cincinnati would be 10-0 and AAC champs regular season and title game with 3 ranked wins (at the time Army, SMU, and Tulsa).
