Seriously, taking those moments from the article at face value, Clemson is 5-7 with "Notre Dame luck."

What if Cole Luke was not called for pass interference against Va Tech and the Irish win?

What if Miami's extra point to tie was not blocked by FSU and Miami goes on to win?

Va Tech is 5-3 in conference. Miami (6-2) wins the Coastal. Louisville (7-1) wins the Atlantic. Florida State finished 4-4 in conference play. Notre Dame is 5-6 going into the USC game.

Michigan or Penn State in the Playoffs? Louisville or Miami against the one that does not make the Playoff?

What if I told you that this year's Bama team is by far my least favorite? What if I told you that I don't care for J. Hurts and his style of play? What if I told you I would not be disappointed if Bama loses in the title game? Nothing against the majority of the players on this year's team. They are some really good ones. I would not be too surprised . That handshake business and the "soft" comments weren't great displays of sportsmanship. I haven't been following them too closely to know if those are isolated incidents, but, based on your What Ifs, sounds like they may not have been.

What IF Eddie Vanderdoes 32 QB pressures and run stopping play were for the ND defense this year?

BVG would be a "beast" again.


IF grandma had Obamacare when Eddie signed an ND LOI, Eddie wouldn't have had to be worried and stay in CA to be needed. The middle of ND's DL would have been a disruptive force with the future First Rounder. The entire defense would have played better with QBs running for their lives. An third and short not being a given. Navy would have spent the day punting.
