ND wins every game until their back-to-back games against Navy and Army. ND's defense will limp into the game against VTech and give up 40pts and then follow that up with giving up 50pts to Ronald Jones and the USC Trojans. Playing those Military teams back to back is a recipe for disaster to end the season.

I think Notre Dame can win every game on their schedule next year because the toughest teams we play will all be experimented with first year QB's. I do have many concerns though. I will touch on that later. One huge thing though is Jarron Jones being healthy. Honestly with all the injuries ND had this year I thin if Jarron Jones was healthy and played a full season this past year it would have been the difference between where we ended up and making the playoffs. I think his impact is that significant. Here is how I see the roster looking like next year granted if everybody leaves like Fuller, Smith, Stanley and Prosise. I think Russell should come back so I will include him in the roster breakdown.

QB- 1A: Zaire 1B: Kizer. 3rd string Wimbush.
- If Fuller comes back I would give the starting job to Kizer, but considering I don't think that happens I will go with Zaire. Zaire starts because he makes better decisions with the football. Knowing when to throw it away and when to take a sack. Numerous times Kizer instead of throwing it away took a sack this year resulting in a huge loss. Wimbush redshirts unless something crazy happens.
RB- 1A. Josh Adams 1B: Folston 3rd string Brent or Williams.
- Both Adams and Folston will each get about 10-12 carries a game some more depending who has the hot hand that day. I'd like to see what Brent can do, get him the ball in space or on a toss kinda like hunter jr did or prosise did this year. Williams could maybe use a redshirt.

TE: The staff needs to figure out someone who can start being used as a guy who the QB can count on for passing. whether thats Jones, Weisher, Smythe. Lutua I don't see as a guy whose going to be used that way he is a guy for the running game blockings.
-1A Jones, 1b: Smythe I think all four will play a lot

WR: It's concerning that if Fuller leaves ND loses 4 of their top 5 receiving guys from this past year. That would be Fuller, Prosise, Brown, and Carile. The concern I have is whose going to be that deep threat down field who can take the top off defenses?
- Starters: St. Brown Back ups: Corey Holmes
Corey Robinson Boykin
Tori Hunter Jr. CJ Sanders
I'd like to see Sanders get a few touches a game, get him the ball in space with some good blockers and see what he can do. I think Freshman coming in like Claypool and Mcinkley if he comes here both could push for a lot of playing time.

OL- I'm not overally worried about the OL with the amount of depth we will have.
Starters: Back ups:
OT: MGlinchey Bivin OT: Bars gets moved to tackle Tommy Kramer
OG: Quenton Nelson Mcgovern
OG: Steve Elmer Montelous
C: Tristen Hoge Mustipher

Defense:
DE: Starters will be Rochell and Trembetti, back ups will be Khalid kareem, Daelin Hayes, Bonner, and Jay Hayes
DT: Starters will be Jones and Tillery, back ups will be Cage, Treadway, and Elijah Tayler.

LB's Starters will be Onuwala, Bilal, and Martini, back ups will be Nyles Morgan, Coney, and Barajas.

Corners: Starters will be Luke and Russel back ups will be Watkins and Colemon and Ashton White, Butler plays corner/Safety same with Crawford

Safety: starters will be Redfield and Sebastian if he comes back. Crawford can start as well depending on who we plays. Back ups are Williams, Tranquill.

Mix in those Freshman guys wherever because I think 2-3 of them could make an instant impact at DB as Freshman.

looking forward to 2 games here in texas, with opener at UT.
hope to make 2-3 home games...usually do opener (Nevada), and will try to do 2 of UM, Stanford, MSU.
Home night games? MSU, UM?

ND will barely beat the crappy teams, lose to the really good teams and get beaten by three touchdowns in a bowl game by a legitimate team. People will make excuses and justify the failure and we'll all meet back here for 2017 because nothing ever changes.

....and then, depression sets in.

I expect a drop off from this year because of the inexperience at linebacker and defensive back. Offense should be able to score points similar to this year, but defense won't be able to stop anyone. Our inexperienced defensive backfield and lack of a rush from our front four will once again make average quarterbacks look like Heisman candidates. I expect an 8-4 regular season with a bowl win over an inferior opponent for a 9-4 season overall.

-@ Texas - Heard is back I believe and could give us fits - toss up
-Nevada - Should be a win
-MSU - Cook is gone, but they are now a perennial Top 10, if not Top 5 program. I like our chances at home though.
-Duke - Cutcliffe has proven himself as one of the best coaches in the country by having this program teetering on the Top 25 the last few years. Probably closer than it should be, but a W.
-Syracuse @ MetLife - This would be the sleeper game to watch out for. Dino Babers runs a very high tempo offense that could give us a lot of trouble. Although we have a ton more talent, the high tempo and quick throws are a great neutralizer. Hopefully, we win a shootout.
-@ NC State - will be a struggle on the road, but with Brissett gone, I think we get the win.
-Stanford - Hogan is gone, McCaffrey is back. If BVG is gone, I think we win. I just can't see us limiting McCaffrey again, unless there is a change made. How did we contain this dude? Toss up.
-Miami (FL) - Kaaya is back, and Richt will have them fired up to play in South Bend. I think we get the Win somewhere in the 27-24 range.
-Navy - Although the system is great, they will miss the greatest Navy QB since Roger Staubach in Kennan Reynolds. Win.
-Army - a dud of a Shamrock Series game. Why the Alamodome again? I understand Texas, but what about Jerry World or Houston?
-VT - Justin Fuentes will bring more offense, and they still have Bud Foster, but I think our talent will be too much.
-@ USC - Kessler is gone, but of course they will reload. I think Helton will be a bust, but I see this game as a toss-up.
Overall, as BK usually does, we will win the games we are supposed to and split the others...I see 10-2.
