The way it should be for collegiate defenses imo. No need to get too cute or over-complicated.

I noticed he was running with the 1s as well yesterday with Morgan. Other than that I don't think there has been a word.

Well there was that clip of Luatua pancaking him, lol. I'm worried about his size and stopping the run, but very excited to see some athleticism there.

also as mentioned before by BK that sheldon day was prob one of the best past rushers....this allows us to have more of a pass rush up the middle and allows Ishaq to be at his nature position and gives some fresh legs w. game experience

Hopefully Riggs at corner and Shumate "needing to be in the box" means Shumate as primary nickle. He was so good there as a freshman.

HOLY SHIT

Talk about a dramatic change. Bonner was recruited as an outside linebacker, but at 269 he was projected to move to an end position, and now he is the backup for Sheldon Day at the three technique, shading the outside shoulder of the offensive guard. Chase Hounshell had been working there in the spring and Jacob Matuska also has been playing on the inside with Justin Utupo.

Kelly has described Bonner's camp as "excellent" and particularly likes his explosiveness off the ball. Does not play like a freshman.

I am thrilled with the news of trumbetti, j.o., martini, Rochelle and shumate! We will be very fast and changing personnel faster than a hockey team in the 5th overtime!
