2012 All-American Teams

Figured there will be quite a few coming out, so one thread to put them all would be best. CBS Sports came out with their's today, with Stephon and Manti taking down 1st team honors, Eifert and Cave on the second team, and Big Lou on third team:

Te'o also made first team AA on the AFCA team.

Tuitt on 1st team and Nix on 3rd probably makes sense if you're just looking at stats, but it highlights how underrated Big Lou is. He's arguably the most important player on the nation's best defense.

There just aren't a lot of really good centers this year in CFB. The two teams in the NCG might have the best 2.

JC Shurburtt is "evaluating the evaluators" over at 247, comparing this year's all-Americans with their rankings coming out of school.

His conclusion about Manti is that he was overrated as a recruit coming out of high school. Um.....what??

Anybody bother to count the number of All-Americans that the Irish faced this season? I glanced at it and it appeared to be quite a few.
