Visiting for the SC game. Hopefully HH blows away the parents who are very involved in their kids recruitments and then they go all in on Jake's older brother Max who is committed to OSU this cycle. I think Max is going to be a good one.

ND has a good connection to rich boy, Nashville OL recruiting with Bars and Mabry. Montgomery Bell, Brentwood and Franklin are all primo programs.

https://247sports.com/Article/The-family-of-four-star-OL-Max-and-Jake-Wray-addresses-issues-wi-109430765

Four-star U.S. Army All-American Max Wray and his four-star brother out of the 2020 class, Jake Wray, sat out their high school's game last Friday at Spring Hill and reports emerged that the two had left the team on their own accord. The two weren't expected to play this week when Franklin High School seeks its third win of the season against visiting Dickson County.

With limited information available regarding the reason for the discord between the Wray brothers and the Franklin football program, the Wray family released the following statement to 247Sports on Wednesday:

"The Wray family has done everything we can do to prevent this difficult situation. We have no choice, at this time, but to defend our children’s reputation. Max and Jake did not quit the Franklin High Football team. This situation arose because we, as a family, became increasingly concerned that the coaching staff has created an environment in which players’ health and safety is not the first priority. We expressed to the school administration our concern that the culture was creating a perverse incentive for players to conceal injuries, including in particular concussions. An assistant coach apologized to Jake for the situation he had been put in by the staff, an apology that Coach [Donnie] Webb dismissed, saying, “sometimes young coaches do stupid things.” We have tried for the last week to have this matter resolved privately and positively for all concerned. Instead, Max and Jake were suspended, further unjustified punishment. We simply asked that the staff acknowledge that our concerns were being addressed and that Max and Jake were publicly exonerated from any wrongdoing and restored to good standing with the team. Unfortunately, our concerns and our proposal for resolution were met with belligerent denial by the staff and administration. Under these circumstances, Max and Jake wish their teammates nothing but success as they finish the season."

Max Wray is ranked by the 247Sports Composite rankings as the No. 8 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 84 player overall in the class of 2018. He's committed to Ohio State. Jake Wray is ranked by the 247Sports rankings as the No. 98 player in the country in the class of 2020 and the nation's No. 10 offensive tackle.

Goodbye Franklin hello Brentwood Academy, Montgomery Bell or Brentwood High. I hear High needs a new LT because their All-Stater is heading to Notre Dame.

Is there real hope we get the brothers?

The Wray brothers?

I haven't heard anything about Max. Never offered (or at least it never went public).

That's gotta be a weird one... talking to the parents about their freshman son when you never offered their Army All American Senior LT son at a position of need this cycle.

Ah, we never offered so we'll probably get neither. Good to know.

Slid him to the bottom of the board as soon as bro went with Urban.

Don't understand a family like this. Some kids might not need ND to make it to the NFL or don't fit at ND but this family is a good demographic match for O line especially.

Hell, Alex Bars could've translated this season or Jake...

Wow, even with his brother already there.

Funny stuff, Bill K at bucknuts has been a real gem the last week over them not making the playoffs and now this. He put out a piece that he's had to update where he essentially guessed whether or not a prospect was going to stick with his commitment or not. Well, shocker, he had everybody sticking whether he spoke to them or not. Then there was a decommitment so he updated the article. Now there is another, I suppose he'll have to do the same. Some of his statements are, "so and so has refused to comment on this publicly and is taking time to digest the information before making a decision. But I see no reason they won't sign with the Buckeyes." IN
