Good point but did Kyle have a single game better than this one v USC?
Not even close. But your comment said “last I saw such a ballhawk.” I thought you were talking about general knack for finding the ball

The only comparable game I can think of was last year Morrison v Clemson. Hopefully Watts goes on to have a similar remainder of the season to what BM had last year. QBs will be to terrified to pass.

Unless he's a 1st round pick, which I'm not sold on, ND should do everything possible to keep him. If you're not gonna buy recruits then you have to drop bags for grad transfers and to keep players who aren't 1st round picks in school.

I agree, but he might be a first-round pick at this point.

after about week 4 I remember Goolsby made a comment that Watts has been a bit disappointing this year. Hahaha.

Now has 6 interceptions which is number 1 in college football unless someone else on the leaderboard had a big game today.

The one saving grace is he's a Free Safety which isn't a premium position. The top safety last year didnt go until the mid-2nd round, and only 3 were taken in the first 3 rounds.

Pre-NIL I would guess he'd be gone but Watts is the perfect example of a player FUND should be opening the pocketbooks for.
