From the 2019 Master List:

Tennessee will be a tough pull next year.

Take Anderson and run.

There might be 10 DB's in TN that could play at ND. How many fit is the question.

I'd like to think Wesley Walker is a possibility but it isn't the demo you'd expect. 247 lists LSU, Tenn and ND as his warms without the Bama/Clemson/UGA offers which are coming.

Watch Jackson Lampley if for whatever reason he doesn't go to UT (Dad was a Vol). Seems like a HH kinda guy.

Bill Norton... yes please. Dick Butkus nasty. Might be a better LT prospect. They didn't want O'Rourke and Norton looks like him only bigger and angrier so i won't get my hope up.

Cameron Wynn 4* ATH: Tariq Bracy 2.0. 2000+ AP yds, plays CB and already wears the Green & Gold of the Fightin Irish of Notre Dame (Chatanooga Chapter) Was committed to UTk for a bit but decom'd when Jones was on his death bed.

I used to love Trey Knox but his latest film plus production have me rethinking that.

Eric Gregory WDE from Memphis has great film but he doesn't have a Vandy offer but does have Ole Miss, Aub, Scar, UTk... 1+1=2 most times.

One to watch out for:

Chris Akporghene. 3* OL. 6-4/275. Nigerian who just played his first year of football. Came here to play basketball but he kept growing and is still growing. Basketball feet make good lineman. GREAT tape for fist year.

Has Yale, IU, Memphis, Scar & WVU offers thus far. Spidey sense is tingling.

Same HS as CJ Sanders before he made the move to Cali?

Pretty sure Sanders was playing in Nashville. Last Chattanooga kid I remember Notre Dame being in on, committed as a preferred walk on but later decided on going to the Naval Academy.

I thought there was a kid from a Notre Dame HS in TN that enrolled recently. I must be wrong

I feel the same way, though it wasn't the one in Chattanooga. I'll have to do a little research.

Visiting in May. I like this kid.

In early May, Notre Dame will host Chattanooga (Tenn.) Notre Dame high school athlete Cameron Wynn, an explosive playmaker with the stats to back it up.

This is important for Notre Dame who have made big strides on the defensive side of the ball and along the offensive line so far in the 2019 recruiting cycle while creating much less activity at the offensive skill positions.

After appearing on the radar for months, Notre Dame offered Wynn on Feb. 21. The 5-foot-10 ½, 165-pound prospect put up over 2,000 all-purpose yards and 29 touchdowns while providing the Notre Dame High School defense with a fierce competitor in the defensive backfield.

Along with Notre Dame, Wynn holds 19 total offers, including Florida, Indiana, Louisville, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and others.

The three-star recruit committed to the Volunteers in April of 2017 but left that pledge in December.

“It’s a good offer,” Wynn said. “(Notre Dame) is kind of the same as the school I go to. We do the same things every day. So, I think it will be a good fit and their coaches are really excited about me.”

He listed Florida, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tulane, and Virginia as the programs showing the most interest.

With Chip Long at the helm of his recruitment, the Irish appear to be in the discussion for Wynn.

“They want me to come up for a visit with my coach, so that’s what I’ve been talking to Chip Long about,” Wynn told Irish Illustrated.

“I think he’s a really good coach. He’s all about the business. The way he talks about his team, it sounds like they do great things and I’m sure they do because I watch them on T.V. and I know they have a great program.”

For months, Wynn has been eyeing a trip to South Bend with one of his coaches. That trip is less than two weeks ahead and could offer a winning situation for both sides.

I'm a fan, as well. More slot WR/APB's. I think the Jafar Armstrong experiment will go extremely well. It's the Chip Kelly/Oregon offense approach. Recruit speed and then get that speed the ball in space.

Reading on a FB ND page that Wynn's out moving forward.

Anybody got details?

I haven’t seen any details just that we are indeed no longer recruiting him. Kind of a bizarre situation. With a visit planned to no longer recruiting him sameday/couple of days.
