Son of former Chicago Bear Maurice Douglass who is the coach of Springfield HS. Ton of talent at the school right now. If i remember correctly, Mo Douglass is from Muncie or Anderson.

Performed well at II and here's a snippet from a Steve Hare/Scout free article:

Douglass a ‘Notre Dame offer guy’ - Notre Dame - Scout

“I had contact with coach (Mike) Elston,” Douglass said. “He said he wanted to see me down there and told me to make it to a camp so I did.”
Douglass, son of former NFL safety Maurice Douglass, thought he performed well in South Bend and hopes the Irish soon add to his offer list.
“Coach (Brian) Kelly said I was a Notre Dame offer guy,” Douglass said. “That was a lot of praise right there. It got me excited so I know it's coming now.”
During the camp, Douglass worked with Irish assistant Todd Lyght and new analyst Jeff Burris.
“They know what they’re talking about,” Douglass said. “Coach Burris told me to use my feet more when I’m jamming.”
Douglass also liked what he saw out of Notre Dame’s campus.
“I liked it,” he said. “It’s all new. They really invest in their campus.”
Douglass previously visited Ohio State and Penn State and considers the Irish and Nittany Lions among his early favorites.

I looked it up. He was born in Muncie, Indiana. I played in a celebrity / charity game against him and the Good News Bears back in 1990 was surprised when he was talking about being from Indiana. I figured at the time he was from Kentucky since he went to UK. He obviously moved to Dayton at some point.

He was planning to be at Soph day but won't make it now.

He's really hit a growth spurt. Up to 6-2, 185-190. His Dad played at 210 as a 5-11 DB.

With today's Duke offer added to his Vandy, Michigan, Penn St and Bama offers, Douglass inched one step closer to an ND offer. Just waiting on Ohio St and Stanford to pull the trigger so the Irish can make their move.

In the next 1-3 year Mark Stoops won’t be at Kentucky and when Vince Marrow is looking for a job. Brian Kelly needs to have that dude on speed dial. Chip Long won’t be at ND by then probably so they can hire a TE coach like Marrow
