Making the rounds in the Midwest right now. Would be surprised if he didn't make it to campus on or before the Spring Game. Visited for Stanford and Miami last season.

Had Hunter Johnson as his QB last season. Soph Stats:

10 G .... 52 rec .... 831 yds .... 16.0 ypr .... 11 TD's

Opening Atlanta results:

5-11 .... 168lbs .... 4.53 / 40 .... 4.20 Shtl .... 34.5 PB .... 32.1 Vert .... Score = 95.10

4.53 & 4.20 = Not too shabby.

Full Interview coming soon.

6'0'', 4.5 40yd dash, solid in track, 95.10 at The Opening, best academic offers from Duke, BC, N'Western, Yale. If the staff likes him I'd think he's worth an offer.

That 95.10 was last year too.

Here he is standing in between Sampson James and "6-2" David Bell. So he's not a 5-10.5 kinda 6-0.

I think you are about to see things really heat up on the WR board. I'd guess by the start of the dead period (June 25th) you'll really have a good idea of who the top guys and maybe even a commit or two at the position...

.9271 4* Demariyon Houston - Made his top 12, needs to visit
.9239 4* Trey Knox - Visiting this summer
.9131 4* Zion Puckett - Made his top 10, needs to visit
.9115 4* TJ Sheffield - Top 8, Top 4 coming friday, said ND is the school that sticks out
.9108 4* Donovan Greene - Decommit from Duke the day ND visits, visited for USC
.9065 4* John Metchie - ND, Michigan, PSU, Bama with PSU leading but likes ND
.8935 4* Cornelius Johnson - Stanford-ND battle, right now ND leads in CB's
.8778 4* Bryce Kirtz - Offered and immediate ND CB from Wiltfong

First off, Ohio State is steamrolling when it comes to WR recruiting. They are in great shape for Marcus Washington, David Bell, Lance Wilhoite, Jameson Williams, Trey Knox, Zion Puckett, and TJ Sheffield. There's no way that they take all of them so that's where Notre Dame enters the picture. I think TJ Sheffield, Zion Puckett, and Trey Knox might get caught in a numbers game and that's where ND can leave its mark. I think Cornelius Johnson is a winnable recruitment because unlike Salim Turner-Muhammad, the analysts haven't all shifted their CB's already which they could've done when he visited. Donovan Greene is interesting in that there's no evidence that ND is a major player, but its definitely a little smoke in the fact that the staff visits him and he decommits a few hours later. I'd love to see ND take any two from the above group and then get picky with maybe one more spot. Right now, no commitments is unsettling for most, but I think all will be well by the end of the summer.

Committed to Northwestern

Bummer, liked this guy, but you cant fault him for going to a great school. He will play for one of my favorite college coaches.
