100% Penn St. crystal balls over the last few days, including Loy.
Best outcome for ND IMO.

PSU's Front seven is gonna be sick in 2 years. Next year we will get to see the young guys flourish but 2 years is when it all comes together. Parson, Mustipher, Brandon Smith, Oweh, Isaac, Dixon, etc.
did we ever even offer? i know we dropped in, but never saw a twitter thank you for an offer like he did for every other offer he got.
No we didn’t. And I think that makes sense. Space, current position group, and 20’ class make this difficult to do.
Thanks LL.
I wish we could have taken him, but I certainly understand. Just hope we don't regret it, and picked the right German.
It probably will come down to how Hunter recovers from his injury (obviously something that is very difficult to plan for). If Spears ends the season the way he started it, this discussion isn't happening.
I don't think Joseph would be in any position to help next season so both with have 1 year to get acclimated while Hunter rehabs at ND.
Agree, but wasn't necessarily thinking he would be ready year 1. He's more of a 3rd year wrecker if I had to guess. Regardless of how Hunter turns out, if JAD goes on to be a monster at PSU, the discussion will happen.
Well if Lacey, Spears and Cross all turn out to be really good players wouldn't that be relevant to the discussion.
Either way, there are going to be good players that ND doesn't sign, we can't expect that to change. Therefore, unless we are struggling along the interior while PSU is succeeding with this young man, it doesn't seem worth the time.
Darkwa garnered an ND offer but did not announce it publicly, Collier said. The Irish emerged late in the process. Initially a 2020 recruit, Darkwa reclassified and committed to Penn State on Friday.
“If he ended up being 2020, I think Notre Dame would have had a realistic shot at landing him,” Collier said.
