Looking to visit during the off season.

247 Freebie:

https://247sports.com/college/notre...e-high-on-the-list-for-Cali-2019-TE-113371578

“Things with Notre Dame are going really well,” Wolfe said. “Notre Dame is definitely high up on my list right now. I’ve been bonding really well with the coaches there.

“I’m definitely trying to get out to Notre Dame before my senior season.”

Leading Wolfe’s recruitment is special teams coordinator and West recruiter Brian Polian, while a supporting cast of Irish staff has also played a part.

“So far, I like (Polian) a lot,” Wolfe said. “He’s very personable and really easy to talk to. I respect him, and I like him a lot. I (also) spoke briefly with coach (Brian) Kelly, coach (Aaryn) Kearney and coach (Chip) Long.

“Notre Dame is definitely one of my top schools right now.”

With most prospects from California, the Irish face a challenge with familiarity. This isn’t the case with Wolfe.

“I have an aunt who went to Notre Dame and my great grandma was a huge Notre Dame fan,” Wolfe said. “So, everyone under here, there’s just a lot of Notre Dame fans. It was our household team growing up.”

Along with Midwest ties through his Notre Dame alumni aunt, Wolfe’s father played football at Western Michigan
and his cousin played at Michigan State.

Crusader what's our TE board look like for 19?

Here's my board. I think it looks weak.

I'd like to see them get on Jaheel Billingsly from Chicago Phillips and Kyle Bilodeaux of Woodberry Forest (VA). Thomas Gordon from Houston is one to watch, pretty sure ND's his dream school.

TE:

4* - http://www.irishenvy.com/forums/2019-recruiting-profiles/317244-19-ga-te-ryland-goede-offer.html - Maybe Warm - Maybe not? - Georgia or Mich right now.
4* - http://www.irishenvy.com/forums/2019-recruiting-profiles/320083-19-ok-te-grayson-boomer-offer.html - ??? - If ND pulls a Boomer from OK...
4* - http://www.irishenvy.com/forums/2019-recruiting-profiles/320115-19-tx-te-austin-stogner-offer.html - Gone - Oklahoma commit
4* - Ethan Rae - CA = Offer - Cool - My fav but doesn't sound good from interviews
4* - Isaiah Foskey - CA - Offer = Cool - Bay area kid Stanford vs Harbaugh here.
4* - Jude Wolfe - CA - Offer = ??? - from St John Bosco, a lot of CA TE's this cycle = can't all go to SC/UCLA/Stan
4* - Keon Zipperer - FL = ??? - On The Radar (OTR) - Listed under 6-3, Jumbo WR?
4* - Hudson Henry - AR = Offer - ??? - Brother plays TE at Arkansas - Luke Jones' teammate
3* - Aeneas DiCosmo - NJ = Warm - Camped summer '17, only 6-3/210. Jumbo WR? WDE?
3* - Jahleel Billingsley - IL = ??? - OTR - Chicago kid's blowing up, 9 DI offers, 6-5/230, Boom 7v7 player
3* - Hayden Rucci - PA = ??? - OTR - Duke/NW offers
3* - Dylan Hall - CA = ??? OTR, 6-6, athletic. Will blow up
3* - Logan Lee - IL = ??? - OTR - Early Iowa Commit
3* - Kyle Bilodeaux - VA= No follows yet, Woodbury Forest kid (Martini/Prosise), Huge 112 Sparq. Will blow up. 6-5/240, Run's 4.7's
3* - Thomas Gordon - TX = HOT - Named ND his Dream School. 6-5/220, Houston Strake Jesuit

Mentioned this in another thread. Worked exclusively at the H-back spot for the first 1:30 of his highlight reel. Seems like a good fit for what Long might want.

Top Tight End score for The Opening LA. Giant, giant TE prospect in that he's all of 6'5'' and a legit 245 and is athletic. Also, got a bump from an 88 to a 93 on 247Sports!!

They moved him up to #3 TE and #117 OA. A monster bump.

Was waiting to see his score breakdown before commenting. Was SHOCKED to see him pull a 100+. Blew his 2017 scores out of the water:

40: 5.12 ..................... (very slow, worst TE was a 5.17)
Shuttle: 4.81 ................ (Worst TE score last year)
Vert: 34.0 .................... (Best score TE score last year, surprising considering)
PB: 36.0 ...................... (low, worst was a 32, best was a 45)
SPARQ Rating: 61.56 ..... (Worst was a 58, best was a 112)

Sounds like someone's been training.

With those shuttle, 40 and vertical's looks like he'd be a situational EZ jump ball kind of a guy.

Do we typically get guys who list their "Top 8"? Or guys who say "I just received my 19th offer from ND"? I'm tired of this "look at me generation". I know...I'm an old fart.

You have to think of it from the recruits perspective who isn’t a fan of just 1 school. Now top 20’s are pretty ridiculous but even top 10’s seem more rational. Especially when most of these prospects haven’t had an opportunity to visit each school.

In terms of these announcements, it actually makes sense. Essentially this is the prospects way of letting all other schools know he’s not interested without having to tell each one. Cuts down on the amount of phone calls and messages the prospect, his family, coaches, etc. have to deal with.

Two SC CB's since yesterday.

And I believe Rae's dad played at UCLA.

Really like nothing about the top of ND's TE offer board right now.

Not a Luke Deal fan?

I'd take him but I haven't come around to believe this is a race ND can win. I've spent little time on him but what I have read (away from the Click Collectors) is not good for ND.

To clean up my choice of words in my lat post, I don't like the position ND is in with the top of their TE board. I really like Rae, Hudson and Wolfe and I like Deal. I don't think ND's completely happy either. The staff was in Cincy to evaluate Erick All this week.

Chris Hickman out of Omaha, Nebraska. Nebraska wants him but for some reason he just hasn’t wanted to pull the trigger. Maybe he’s another Nebraska native looking to leave the state like Henrich.

He's too small for TE. He might not even weigh 200 lbs. He's basically the same physical pkg a Micah Jones. He'd be an interesting ATH to bring in if you could afford to. Good defensive player too w/ a lot of INT's from a Drop/OLB position

Yea I wouldn’t argue he’s small. Don’t know why he’s listed as TE on every service. But bottom line is a 6’4”+ WR/TE should be looked at by ND cause it’s not like they have a single commit at WR or TE.
