I’d take Coan Jr/2.0 as a backup QB. Think his arm is potentially stronger too. Either way I’d consider as a backup but not expectation of starter at all

Based on what we saw from Buchner in 2021, i'd say there is a 20% chance he is benched at some point in the year for poor play and 15% chance he has a season ending injury from taking a big hit instead of sliding.

Need to have quality depth pieces, especially at QB. Buchner is one broken collarbone away from sitting for the season.

I remember when he was a thing for a few weeks and an offer seemed likely, I said to myself... I ain't making no profile for Bear's grandson! Flash forward to 2021, I read about CJ Carr and ND so I put up the profile and then do the full research. Lloyd Carr's grandson? Think my first post was... I hate that everyone in the media thinks ND needs a transfer, regardless if we do or not.
