With a small class would we take him if he wanted to come here with Babb? I know he doesn't have an offer but if he gets one would we take him

To be honest, we'd have to whiff on a lot of other guys. Between Jones, Butts, ARSB, and Lenzy, you have to figure we get at LEAST two. Then there's Bush, Austin, Hightower, Babb and others we have an outside shot at. How many WRs are we taking?

We're flirting with the less attractive friend at the bar to make the hottest chick there realize we're a quality guy.

Recruiting Update with Four-Star ATH Cameron Brown

Scout caught up with four-star Cameron Brown to discuss the latest news in his recruitment. When is his cut-down list dropping? Who is the latest school he visited?

Cameron Brown, a 6-foot-1, 165-pound athlete from St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brthers College was elevated to four-star status after a dominating junior year on the field and a strong performance at the Under Armour Camp in Chicago last weekend.

Brown -- who qualified as one of the iLLSPEED finalists -- has an impressive offer list featuring schools like Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Vanderbilt, and Wisconsin.

A two-way star, Brown is still sorting through what position may fit him best on the next level.

"I haven’t made my decision what side of the ball I want to play yet," Brown said. "I am probably going to make my decision during my football season, because I want to play on both sides of the ball.

As a DB, I can recover. I can jam. I can stay with the receiver. I can come up and hit. I am just an all-around DB. As a receiver, my speed opens up the field and makes DBs scared to come up, (I) make them bail, and I am good play maker with the ball in my hands."

Brown has not yet started to narrow down his list, and that decision may become even more difficult as more national programs get involved, but he still fondly remembers that first offer.

"I want to say Iowa State," Brown said when asked about standout offer moments. "Because it was my very first offer ad I am still in contact with them. It was amazing. They saw me at the camp I was at and after they offered me.

I am basically looking at all of the schools that have offered me. I am still in contact with all of them I am not releasing my list until the end of the summer. It will be a list of my top schools. It might be Top 8, Top 7 something like that."

Notre Dame has not yet offered, but Brown was recently on campus for an unofficial visit and the Fighting Irish staff is keeping close tabs. He has also been on a number of other unofficial visits.

"My last unofficial visit was Notre Dame," Brown confirmed. "It was a great place. Great traditions there and it is just a great school. It is just hard to explain. It is just a great place, It feels like my (high) school, because it just feels good up there."

I have been up to Iowa and I really liked that. I have been to Missouri, I really liked that. Illinois, I liked that. I have been to Nebraska and I really liked that. All of the schools I have been to they have been truthful to what they said and it has just been a great experience."

As a junior, Brown starred on both sides of the football racking up 1,023 yards and scored 11 touchdowns on offense, while adding four interceptions on defense.

Wiltfong CB'd him back to Nebraska.

Really surprised ND didn't make a serious run at him. A Catholic school kid in a hot recruiting bed with Bama, UGA, Duke and Nebraska offers and OSU lurking... That's all I need to build an algorithm that sends out the auto offer.
