Notre Dame keeping tabs on ’18 OL - Notre Dame - Scout

Notre Dame has been keeping tabs on the 6-foot-4, 300-pound prospect for some time.
Blake visited for a game last season and followed up by returning this spring. Associate head coach Mike Denbrock, who doubles as area recruiter in Chicagoland, stopped Tuesday at Central High to follow up.
Blake has found his stops in South Bend enlightening.
“I visited for a game last year and that was really eye opening,” Blake said. “This spring I visited again and I haven’t heard from them since they came in. But they’ve been around for awhile.”
Every time Blake has been on campus the Notre Dame vibe strikes him as different than other programs.
“The way they treated you is definitely better than other schools. Then just the tradition and how the players were. It was pretty awesome. Everyone says Notre Dame is different and it definitely is different than any other school.”
