According to our Canadian friend Mike Elko really, really likes this kid as a safety prospect. Expect an offer when he visits next week. Could be the 2nd safety in this class.

Paul M. isn't certain ND is the right fit for him. They'll get a better sense on Irvin next week when he visits but personally I think he stays out west.

Still no confirmation on if Moala is definitely taking a mission. I really like all of them but all I can say is take the one who will be the best FS. Moala has the wheels and is a ballhawk. 7 INT's.

Crimm tests like a FS but only had 1 INT.

I think Irvin is going to be another big safety. He's 6-2, and has a 220 lb head. But he's also sneaky track fast running 11.1 100M's.

Then there's McKenzie, who looks the part but he's not the INT guy and who knows about grades.

Out of their guys at S my gut tells me take Moala and wrap it up as long as the mission isn't a problem.

Add 3 of Gordon, Gervin, Bracy, Mitchell. Something tells me there will be a CB in the 2018 class that isn't offered right now.

Me too. He's an athletic, hard-hitting safety which is what Elko is looking to add to Allen. Watch how many offers start coming in on him as the season progresses.

I suspect Donte Burton will be one of the three corners. Give me one of Gordon/Gervin and Joseph Wilkins.

If Gervin is in the class, i don't care which one of the others are in it though I personally really like Bracy.

Knowing some things about U Dub, I don't have much faith Gordon will be coming east.

I think once Burton gets his test score this month he'll commit and be first on board at CB. As to Gordon or Gervin I would definitely take Gordon because I know he's a perfect fit at ND academically and culturally. I have some concerns about Gervin in those areas but would certainly take him.

Such a head scratcher as to why Moala hasn't committed or why Crim didn't commit on the spot. I wonder if the staff has the same belief in his flexibility as they do w/ Irvin?? He lines up at CB a lot on his Sr mid season tape. If not, you have to believe he or Moala have to pop like any second. They don't have the room for two safety only's in this class.

The Irish also have been pursuing Julius Irvin and B.J Crim at safety, but both could also play cornerback. The 6-foot, 195-pound Crim reported an offer from the Irish on Sunday at the conclusion of his official visit to Notre Dame. Irvin, who made his official visit to Notre Dame for the Georgia game, tweeted about the Irish victory over USC on Saturday night.
