I wasn't high on the kid because of what now think was a rare case of bad SoCal intel. After watching a lot of his 7v7 reps and summer film where he played some great CB, I changed my mind about him. Do I think he's a long term CB? No sure. That depends on genetics matched with what weight room path he's guided down. If he is a future safety, he'll have elite skills against the pass and would make a nice nickle on any down instead of situational sub packages. Anyways... I'm on board with you now Lucky, I hope he gives ND a solid look.

Yea, a big fan of his versatility.

I really like this kid, hopefully we can get back in this.

"is expecting a call tonight from lyght

Notre Dame, USC and BYU are the teams to beat right now"

I'd say there's a strong possibility.

I recanted that position a few responses above. I was told early on he wasn't the player he was being made out to be. It's my opinion now that was a case of OC football fans not giving him his due based entirely on him being from San Diego Co where the football isn't as good (but there is still plenty of good football being played) I have since seen with my own eyes that he would be a good addition to ND's secondary. Possibly with the flexibility to play any of the 5 DB spots depending on what he is asked to focus on and how he physically matures.

There was never a question if he was an RKG. I've heard nothing but great things about him as a person.

Per Anna, he is an EE and will most likely decide in November. Will narrow his list soon and probably take 4 OVs

per 247---he called Lyght to let him know he was going to commit to BYU 24hrs prior...he didn't call any other coaches but him...he was very upfront and didn't want to be too far from his family and for personal reasons...this goes to show how respected lyght is and the relationships he is building...
