Another of Coach Sanford's recruits from his Boise days. His father is a coach at his Bay area high school so it's possible that Coach Sanford has had a relationship with him going back to his Stanford days.

Will visit for the Spring game later this month.

Has Boise, Washington St and Louisville as his leaders per 247.

His mom is from Louisville, but its pretty much going to be between Arizona and Louisville, unless Notre Dame gets serious about him. At this point, I think Notre Dame is interested, but not sure how interested. Good player that can play a few positions and not bad to have on the team, but nothing screams elite about his game.

If Yamanoha was in the 2015 class, he would be a take, because of his ability to play defense.

Taylor Rapp is a much better prospect in my opinion if you're looking for a top notch safety prospect.

Exactly TP. He's like the other 2nd tier safety prospects here in California this year. Nothing jumps out at you about them athletically or production wise. They probably are more invested in being WR's at this time as that gets the ladies and the stats but their only hope of being a difference maker is at safety and they aren't there yet. He could be a great player in the secondary, they all could, some of them will be great players but it takes a program that will develop him AND let them play. That's why so many good safeties come from the second / third tier college programs. They get skipped over by the big boys coming out of HS and once in college they get to play where as the 4 star safety going to a top 10 school has to sit till he's an upperclassman and gets behind.

Scout: ND is going to evaluate him in a few weeks at his HS while in action. Trying to determine what position he best suits.

Somebody's Mama might not be so happy bout this... until he tells her about his first salary offer upon graduating.
