He visited for a bowl practice, was at Solider field for the Miami game, and then at South Bend the next weekend for the Stanford game.

My brother is a Grade below him at Benet, says hes good, very tall but thin, Benet exceded expectations this year beat number 2 Marist in the playoffs should be fun to see what they can do next year with him behind center, ill have to go see him play

I like his height, he has plenty of time to add some muscle. I would not mind seeing his name in the mix in a couple years for the QB of our future top 5 recruiting class. :)

Only thing is id rather him not grow anymore, but him being so young he may add a few inches and stick with bball which he is also good at, not a ton of 6'8 6'9 qbs, Mallett and Osweiler come to mind only

He has tons of time to add weight, but 6-6 185 is crazy skinny!

If that's not ND-friendly territory then I don't know what is.

If that's not ND-friendly territory then I don't know what is.

I live right there I went to the university across the street which is a small private catholic school, where more than half the faculty are ND grads (couldnt get in/pay for ND), huge ND base there because of the commonalities and Benet likes to send kids to ND for sure, His interest is sky high im sure of it, just a matter of how good he can be, he is only a sophomore

Like to see more film on him but the staff knows way more than I do.

Per 247 enjoyed his visit, got to see the academic side of ND more, seems to have a really really good relationship with Martin.

Was his 6th or so time visiting ND but only 1st for his mom.

Way to early but Cornell and Benventi would be a huge start for '15

Wiltfong made it seem as tho we are in a pretty good spot here as well. Just to add he think Benventi is a possible top 100 player. So like STL said that could be 2 top players in '15.

I have to imagine the staff would prefer to wait at least a year until they take a '15 QB.

Agreed, I'm not advocating for an offer any time soon, after his Junior film at the earliest. There is certainly a strategy to it, offering Campbell (Cass Tech) and Gibson (American Heritage) is different from offering a guy from a school notorious as a ND pipeline and who as visited 4 times in less than 6 months. I do think however starting a class with a QB has its benefits.

Per II just loves Notre Dame and says he wants to decide next Feb or March.

Honestly I would be surprised if he didn't commit this spring.

Do you think they would pass on a QB this year GB?
