Per Rivals we are fading here because we have asked him to play safety, while all these other schools now offering him are recruiting him as an athlete (WR / CB). Sounds like he doesn't want to be pegged for safety now that he has other big time options at his more natural positions.

Not much we can do at that point. ND needs a safety. They don't need corners and athletes, they have plenty at this point (Crawford, Coleman, White). I know I'd like to have as many athletes as possible, but we need to remember that we're only going to have like 2 spots left if Jones and St Brown are essential silent commits at this point.
