Dillard Stays In Touch .

Cameron Dillard will only be a junior in the fall, but the 6-foot-3, 280-pound offensive lineman from Canton, Mich., (Canton) is already attacking his recruitment.
Dillard earned his first offer, from Eastern Michigan, a couple weeks back and stays in regular contact with coaches at Notre Dame, Michigan State, Oregon, West Virginia, Indiana, Arkansas, Central Florida and Buffalo.
“I feel like it gives me a head start on some other kids,” said Dillard. “It’s really exciting. I get to talk to all of the coaches and meet new people all of the time.”
Dillard’s contact at Notre Dame is recruiting coordinator Chuck Martin.
“I talk to Coach Martin every week just to keep in touch,” Dillard said. “He said he can’t wait to get me down there. I’m looking forward to it. It should be exciting. He wants to introduce me to the offensive line coach and have me work with him.”
Dillard won’t be able to make it to Notre Dame’s one-day camp on June 23rd because his school is holding its own camp that day, but he will be on campus June 25th for the Irish’s Linemen Challenge.
“I really just want to see the campus,” Dillard said. “I’ve heard from tons of people that it’s beautiful. I want to see the weight room too and see if that’s really nice.”
Dillard has already done the Sound Mind Sound Body Camp in Detroit and also camped at Ohio State.
“It was real nice,” he said of Ohio State. “The campus is really nice. I got to work with the older guys, the seniors-to-be, for one-on-ones. I had a good camp.”
Dillard has also camped at Eastern Michigan, Michigan State and Michigan. He’ll head to West Virginia’s camp immediately after Notre Dame’s.

I was originally thinking this but apparently he has picked up a ton of offers including Clemson, UF, FSU, WVU, and Oregon

Strange one. How often does Florida pull in kids from Michigan, or anywhere in the far north?
