Notre Dame football recruiting: Lots of juniors on hand Saturday - southbendtribune.com

Juniors. Lots of juniors. Lots of talented juniors.

Roughly 30 are expected to visit for Saturday’s primetime (7:30 p.m. on NBC) matchup with USC. When CBS Sports Network recruiting analyst Tom Lemming scans the list of juniors, he counts 18 players he projects as future high school All-Americans.

Is there an "official" visit list anywhere? Not that I doubt you at all, Ironman, I was just wondering because it would be nice to find a page or link to share this recruiting awesomeness with some of my ND and non-ND buddies out there-- to let them get a glimpse of the terror ND will be bestowing over college football for the next several years!

Uh oh- I worded my question incorrectly! Many, many apologies!

What I meant was there a website or a link I could share with other people besides a ND message board to show them the list of recruits coming this weekend? In my experience, using a message board for the home team as "evidence" or "proof" is not always met with open arms.

I'm not certain the most recent changes are posted, but you'll find concrete "scholarly" ND visitor information there.

Follow the pattern at any ND paysite for the same results...

Anyone have an inclination whether a commit from a '12 recruit or a '13 recruit is more likely this weekend? I feel like a '13 recruit would be less surprising, just because of the numbers situation in each class. Obviously I'd love to see multiple commits from each class.

Either ISD, or B&G did a "Most likely to commit" list.

I think you could google it.

I read it, and half-a-hundred other things so it's been purged nearly.

Off the top of my head, they had Manning, Poole, and one of the Cali boys as the top three expected in 2012 I think.

Your assessment of the 2013 crop was reinforced through what I've read.

It was ISD, FYI. Pretty good write up. Byron Marshall was the Cali boy who is possible.

Thanks, JK. I did see that on ISD. Great info, as usual from them. I actually did write my post after I read that, because it piqued my curiosity. It focused on the 2012 class, and it seems reasonably likely that we get a 2012 recruit over the weekend. So I was wondering if anyone had a feeling if it was more or less likely that we pick up a 2013 this weekend.

I would be surprised if we didn't get a '13 commit soon. That being said, unless it's from a solid Mark Harrell or Steve Elmer-type-of-kid, it's sometimes tough to get TOO fired up about something that has 16 months to go in a number of directions.

WR LaTroy Pittman of Citra, FL confirms in text he will visit ND this weekend. Pittman, a 4-star player, is committed to Florida

This is the FL commit that is close to Brian Poole, whom Poole told he was still a Florida commit after this weekend. This is obviously great news on the Poole visit. Can someone make a thread for him, I would but I'm at work.
