The way I see it, is if higher ranked teams keep losing and ND stays on a roll. Things may get really interesting come selection for the tournament.

Do we move above Kansas is the question? I'm not really worried about our ranking though because, with wins over Pitt, UCONN and Wisconsin, we're going to get a good seed in the tourney barring a late season collapse. I just really want to get a top 2 seed in the Big East Tourney sp that the Irish get a double bye in the Big East Tourney.

ND won't move above KU, KU will probably fall to #5 behind Texas, Ohio St., Pitt, and Duke if none of them lose this week. If the tourney started tomorrow the Irish would be a solid #2 seed in my opinion, they have to play well down the stretch to hold on to that, but I don't see any scenario where they could sneak up and get a #1 seed, but crazy things happen in March.

Duke still has to play UNC and Temple. Pitt and the rest of the Big east will beat up on each other... Its possible for them to get a 1 seed. But unlikely

A double bye could hurt us. I would rather just jump in there and play while you are are playing good.

OSU still has atleast one more they will lose. I am guessing two. I am guessing Texas is #1, Pitt #2, and Kansas #3 at the end.

Thats what alot of people said after ND beat PITT, they had 10 days off before they had to play DePaul. But they came out and won by 25, I would think a double bye would help keep their legs fresh if they do make a run in the tournament.
