Feels like the Saints have hired their staff heavily from college ranks. Not usual is it?

Not too usual. The Saints have pilfered from LSU of course, but young HCs sometimes have limited connections to hire more established guys. Liam Coen was running into similar things for Jax. Kellen Moore being hired so late in the process probably didn't help either
