It is accually not possible to take a full class, we arent going to take 10 LB's this year because its a deep year...Major doesn't have an offer because its a "deep year". I look at his offers and don't see any from USC, Florida, or schools like that...they must be seeing what our coaches are. Yes he looks good in his 2 minute "Highlight" film, but coaches study game film which consists of taking plays off and desire and other things, just because we lost out in the last couple years on LB's doesn't mean we can just take half of our entire class with LB's because guys on the internet want more depth (Which isn't that bad to begin with.) If he gets offered he gets offered, let it go.

Actually if we brought no 5th years back next year we would be at 60 schollies, so 60 plus a full class is 85...technically possible. Anyway, I wasn't advocating taking 10 LBs just to fill numbers obviously you want the best guys possible.

Maybe I'm missing something, but this was my math:

We currently have 79 scholarship athletes on the football team, no?

9 guys are 5th year seniors, and will be gone baring some kind of injury-medical redshirt scenario.

7 guys are 4th year seniors (Lambert, Ferrine, Crum Jr, Vernaglia, Justin Brown, J. Jabbie, and D. Bragg)

79 - 7 - 9 = 63. So 22 would be the most they could bring in at this point. But thats assuming the figure of 79 current scholarship football players is correct.

Scratch Bragg from your calculations, he's left the team. Also expect the walkon OL Bermenderfer to pick up a scholarship. He's got 3 years of eligibility.

I got the wrong info. We'll probably have 76 scholarship athletes. We were slated for 76, but added Bermenderfer (in all likelihood), then lost Bragg, putting us back to square one. 76 - 9 - 6. = 61, so there'd be 24 spots open if all the 4th year seniors leave.
