really? what did he have to say?
I guess anyone could understand the appeal of staying close to family, especially on someone as young as him. Overall, we got a great hall, I can't wait for the blue-gold game. It looks like the next few years are going to be really special in South Bend. Omar? can this be done already?
As I've said before I would have loved to seen Milton end up Irish but he wasn't a need and wouldn't have played next season and do wish him the best and I agree this means ND will be more aggressive at landing more than 1 elite back in the next class and hopefully Cierre Wood will be one of them.I'm upset about the situation as well, but I so excited about our class. This just means we go after Cierre Wood even harder. Mark my words he is the best RB to come out of HS since Reggie Bush.
Yeah, Reggie Bush.
PS: 100th post. Hizzah.
Any chance he transfers to ND?
Somebody on Scout said they had heard he was having academic troubles as well.
Former UCLA running back Milton Knox will transfer to Fresno State.
Knox, who decided to leave the Bruins last month, visited the Fresno State campus last weekend and formally told the Bulldogs' coaching staff Friday.
...
As a redshirt freshman last season, Knox played in seven games, primarily out of the wildcat formation, but was unable to earn consistent playing time ahead of Johnathan Franklin and Derrick Coleman.
Though Knox had a strong spring practice, playing time next season was going to be even harder to come by with Gatorade national player of the year Malcolm Jones and highly-touted freshman Jordon James enrolling in the fall.
Knox said his decision was complicated because his father and grandmother are both dealing with complications from diabetes and he had hoped to stay in Los Angeles to be close to them.
