I wouldn't say the defense has been great but I think in both games they've put the offense in position to have the game won before the 4th quarter. Yesterday for example, the defense gave up 9 points through 3 quarters. From the time ND went up 14-6 the defense made Tulane go: Punt - 3 and out...

I’d say our biggest issues are our OL play and a quarterback who is pretty average. You can get away with one or the other but not both.
