    Notre Dame Transfer Portal 2022-2023

This is how Prime gets Colorado to bowl eligible quickly. There are so many upgrades he can get in the portal.

'23 IN LB Drayk Bowen (Notre Dame Signee)

Drayk is a polarizing rating as far the services go. At least to me. If I’m a Notre Dame football fan, all I really care about is the production of the player, while at ND. So, a guy like Tevon Coney was criminally underrated because he was a very effective/productive MLB. Which is what I...

    2023 Transfer QB

I really think folks concerns about the defense and DL are completely out of control. There is a ton of young talent on this team with a very serious veteran presence. Good coaches can with big with that. Between the Junior and Sophomore class there will be 7, former, top 175 front 7...

Tyson Ford is the guy I'm watching as well. At, 6'4 and 275 lbs. he's what I would say is a perfect fit for Big End in the 3 man front. That can then play 3T in a 4 man front.

'18 SC QB Sam Hartman (Notre Dame Transfer)

It's going to make Spring practice so damn exciting. I mean, the WR's have to realize the opportunity that is in front of them and see this Spring at the time to make or break. I think his presence will go a long way in forcing guys to step up. Because as noted, someone will be making big...

'18 NJ OLB Justin Ademilola (Notre Dame Signee)

You say this as it a small achievement. He fostered an environment that was team/brotherhood first and got all his guys to "buy-in" to that approach. That's essentially every coaches dream, lol. Which created better than "OK" results. But to take this one step further, just so we're all on...

‘19 TN CB/S Thomas Harper (Notre Dame Verbal)

A lot of this was said above by others but... - Obviously BenMo is a star. The best young CB we've had since Julian Love and we know how important he was as he progressed through the program. He's also clearly a better NFL "prospect" than Love was. Which is saying a lot as Love is a...

Personally, of the things that I think could be on Washington's list this wouldn't be one of them. 1. I don't think they think of the Vyper like we're accustomed too. 2. I think they landed a very good edge rushing prospect in Traore. I think it's easy to get hungup on positional recruiting...

I respectfully disagree. But, Elston's model wasn't just wait until guys are in their 5th years to perform. Okwara and Foskey were breaking out as Sophomores. Well, Washington has 3 stud Sophomore DL. If they breakout next year, the DL will likely be pretty good.

We shouldn't get ahead ourselves with the Washington criticism but the situation he inherited is far from being something that should provide cover should they underperform. But, this DL is not void of blue chip recruits and experience. It just might be void of production, which is his job...

Because he didn't. Turnover in Elston's DL room at ND was low. Elston at Michigan and Elston at ND are two very different things that really don't have much to do with each other.

Not immune from defection at all. Ovie wasn't a two deep depth chart guy. Lacey should've been and Justin was/is. Lacey was benched after a truly remarkable performance. That's on coaching. I think it was a bad decision on Jacob's part but I totally get the feeling of being wronged for...

Elston's recruited depth chart would look something like this. NT: Rubio, Cross, AK, Onye. 3T: Mills, Lacey, Ford, Cross. SDE: Mills, Nana, Justin A, Gobaira. Vyper: Botelho, Justin A, Burnham. Some guys used twice to show the flexibility with different fronts. There are zero issues...

'18 NJ OLB Justin Ademilola (Notre Dame Signee)

From Elston's expected depth chart Washington has now lost Justin to the NFL and Lacey to Oklahoma. It really boils down to who they bring in to replace them. Or who they get ready to replace them. But, yea, the depth chart feels a little different with those two returning. He's got plenty...

This only makes sense if the staff is very confident in landing a transfer. That coupled with Botelho’s coming out party, could squeeze out a savvy vet like Justin. But, I’d hate to see it happen because I’d really like to have as much depth as possible for next year. If a real run is...
