'24 MI QB CJ Carr (Notre Dame Signee)

Here is Loy's VIP article from his interview with CJ. https://247sports.com/college/notre-dame/LongFormArticle/Notre-Dame-QB-Commit-CJ-Carr-Locked-In-with-Fighting-Irish-208127185/#208127185_10

This. Need S’s and you gotta start somewhere. This would be a good place to do it.

Loy knowing that he can milk this thing for all it’s worth. And we all just keep watching, lol. Here’s the “extended” cut.

'24 MI QB CJ Carr (Notre Dame Signee)

I think he’s got the easy upside to be the #1 overall player someday. Great frame, good athleticism for a QB, big time arm, super clean mechanics. He’s got it all.

Here is a more extensive look at the workout Loy watched yesterday.

At the time they took Buch, I thought he was the better prospect. At the time they took Carr I wanted Sayin more. Some of that might have been because of the pizazz of getting the kid from Cali that was tearing up social media with his off platform throws and side arm specials. But, I think...

    Spring Practice 2023

Kind of the forgotten man at RB.

    Spring Practice 2023

Also of note, Jamie U mentioned that word around is Tobias Merriweather is having the best Spring Camp so far. Apparently, he’s the dude. And, Kaleb Smith has been pretty underwhelming. Now, this seems like maybe an overreaction to a slow start learning a new offense as we know he’s made...

First thing I came across on the google.

He was. In fact, it felt like consensus was he was playing better than Baker. However, since then he was virtually a non-factor last year and his weight seems like an anomaly of sorts. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if it’s because he’s that good or because everyone else is that...

    Spring Practice 2023

So, I'm just getting around to watching this. I didn't know what to make of the Carmody starting with the 1's, prior to getting injured (still haven't heard how serious that is/was) but Jamie says that he was hearing Carmody was the "best guard" this Spring. I did not have that on my bingo...

Just an incredible group of young offensive players. Very exciting.

    Spring Practice 2023

That game for Buch was similar to a lot of Ian Book's wins where you can say, we wouldn't have won without them. At the same time, for much or some of the game they are also the reason the game was so close. We won and Buch showed some real growth during it. That's exciting. Buch playing...

Illinois and Iowa finished in the top 25 of the S&P+. Illinois at 21 and Iowa at 23. I agree that I hate the transitive property in sports. You're getting lost in the one line about ND being a terrible team. At least that wasn't my intention. I'm saying that if PSU isn't a "good" team, than...

'24 MO OT Andrew Sprague (Michigan Verbal)

Unless you have an extremely narrow view of what "good" is, I just don't see how you can reach that conclusion. They beat 4 teams that finished in the S&P+ top 25. Which includes beating the #4 and #6 teams by a combined score of 86-40. Dude that's impressive. Their only loss was to the #8...

While this may be true. Consider that, to close out 2021, they beat then #23 PSU on the road, housed #2 OSU at home, and then housed #15 Iowa to win the BIG10 championship. They beat the #2 and #15 teams by a combined 84-30 in back to back games. If that was ND, I'd be plant a flag on that...

Sadly, at this moment in time, I think there is going to be a theme here. Gross. Even that is hard to type.
