'25 GA WR Jerome Bettis Jr. (Notre Dame Signee)

I think he ends up in the 6'2 ½ 210lb range, but ND needs to have patience and secure the higher end talent first! Bettis' recruitment isn't moving needles unless he has a monster SR season, and even stillI think he comes to ND regardless whether on scholly or not.

    '25 AZ/FL WR Raiden Vines-Bright (Washington Verbal)

I'm aware just saying that's what the pecking order should've been, so they should be mindful of the commits and not settling for the lower tier.

    '25 AZ/FL WR Raiden Vines-Bright (Washington Verbal)

He should be in the top 5-6 for sure! They can't afford to take mid floor "prospects". Order should've been something like: Ffrench, Meadows/Porter, Cyrus, RVB/Hines, Burress, Terry, Bettis. I'd have Golden, Taylor and McCutcheon in the ATL category.

I agree, especially when we tend to take a few too many whom you can't reasonably believe will be solid contributors for us let alone NFL players.

'25 NJ WR Elijah Burress (Notre Dame Signee)

Level of preparation definitely goes along way! These guys get to spend day and night preparing their kids for the next level and have the sources to accompany them. The genes help, but those come from both parents and might work against them at times.

Chris Brown was also a state champion sprinter/jumper like Plaxico, different type of athlete.

Not really, you only need to take one in this class. This class is weak at WR

Some of these guys just aren't players/recruits to contribute at this level and especially at ND. Some of these offers make me wonder who's evaluating.

State of the Recruiting Class - 2024

Those first 4 are 5*'s PERIOD if they were anybody else's class they certainly would be

'24 NC ATH Bryce Young (Notre Dame Signee)

Never! Im sure they will miraculously move all possible 5*'s down substantially...meaning Williams, KVA, Carr for sure and probably Lambert.

'25 MD LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng (Offer)

I agree with that sentiment on Jaylon, he was underutilized for a generational talent. He was never asked to rush the passer and just stuck in the middle, but he was slightly better than JOK, but JOK was definitely an overachieving productive player at ND. Te'o was better than both at ND.

Yea he was supposed to be a ND lock early in the process but we didn't wait to get NIL'd
