At this point, making the playoffs would be a great success for Freeman. There are only so many body blows you can take and stay standing. If this team wins these final 6 games, which is a bit of a gauntlet actually, it absolutely deserves a high seed in the playoffs.

I just don't see how this type of mentality translates to success in the NFL. Edit: this isn't directed at BMo. Generally speaking, "protecting yourself" for the NFL draft is a slippery slope in a competitive arena like the NFL.
