    2024 WATCH PARTY: WEEK 10

I think Indiana could actually beat any of those teams. They are a legitimate team.

    2024 WATCH PARTY: WEEK 10

I will be rooting for: Penn St over OSU Michigan over Oregon Louisville over Clemson Pitt over SMU Duke over Miami Arkansas over Ole Miss Florida over Georgia TTech over Iowa St Mich St over IU Kentucky over Tenn TAMU over SC Houston over Kansas St I'd be happy if maybe 3 of those hit.

    2024 WATCH PARTY: WEEK 10

I agree. Overall we want the frauds to keep winning so it weakens the overall field. I will be rooting for Penn St over the Buckeyes for this reason.

    2024 WATCH PARTY: WEEK 10

We should be rooting for Pitt, as gross as that sounds. SMU plays nobody else the rest of the way. Pitt has a couple potential losses left with Clemson and Louisville.

I'm feeling a couple upsets today.

    2024 College Football Playoffs

Part of the fallacy in this line of thinking is believing all of these teams will win out. The odds of that happening is dimishingly low.

    2024 College Football Playoffs

We will finish no lower than 7th in the final CFP rankings with one loss. It doesn't mean we will get the 7th seed though.

    2024 College Football Playoffs

All the debating about 11-1 ND is pointless. They are an absolute lock at 11-1. There is no debate. It doesn't matter what other teams do. It doesn't matter what happens in the championship games.

Which is exactly why it could be close.

    Nov 9 | Florida State

I'm actually a bit worried about this game. This one could be a lot closer than most ND fans expect.

    Everything Soccer

That's fair. I listen to a lot of soccer/football talk podcasts/sirius 157 and I just get tired of hearing about how they lost another match. Meanwhile, there are plenty of thriving clubs outperforming expectations or getting a lot more with a lot less, that barely get mentioned.

    Everything Soccer

Manchester United is a sham of a club since Ferguson left. Since 2012/13 (Fergusons last year) they are averaging a 5th/6th place finish, while spending the 2nd most (behind Chelsea obviously). They are out of the Champions League more often than not. And they dominate soccer conversations...

I get that Man U is a big brand, but I hate how an irrelevant team dominates soccer headlines so often.

    AP Top 25 (2024)

People forgive a head scratching loss if you routinely kick the ass of the other teams on the schedule. This both passes the "eye test" and boosts efficiency numbers. Notre Dame keeps playing like this and the committee will say something like...yeah they lost to NIU but they dominated the...

Exactly my thoughts. Realistically we could play something like BYU at home in first round and Clemson in the 2nd round.

We can be ranked higher than 5 but can't get higher the the 5th seed

    General team info

Those guys are complete idiots. They use no numbers to back up their stupid takes. They're just talking heads. Our efficiency numbers are essentially the same as Texas, the efficiency numbers their employer releases.

    General team info

Only 17 power 4 teams remain with 0 or 1 loss after week 9. This number will continue to shrink to around 6 or 7 by the end of the regular season.
