No. Pyne needs to simply throw the ball. Literally, just throw it.

Judging by the amount of anger we’ve seen from TR, I’m assuming he’s told Pyne a million times. At some point, the blame falls solely on Pyne.

This is not on TR. TR the play caller is very good. He’s not perfect but he’s good. Pyne can’t read a defense and that’s the biggest issue. He can’t read it pre-snap and is awful at his progressions. He can’t read coverages for the life of him.

Pyne can’t read a defense and hasn’t progressed this season in that regard.

When Terry McAuley is that quick to point out how wrong those calls are AND the non-call on Pyne roughing the passer, you know you screwed up.

Listening to other broadcasts, I’m constantly reminded how difficult it is to find a good pairing. So many announcing teams suck.
