Rudolph isn't doing his job well enough. We have a room loaded with talent. They are blocking for 2 x top 5 RBs (Kiper has Love #1 and Price #3 on RB big board) and a top 10 (and improving) QB. And they still manage to just be mediocre. This is on the coach.

I disagree. Beating an Arkansas team by 40+ on the road and Boise and NC St by combined 64-14 score is already showing top 10 form. All this matters to the committee.

If ND keeps playing defense like this, they will destroy the remainder of the schedule including USC and Pitt. In that case, they will probably get a home playoff game. Advanced stats heavily favor the Irish already and continued blowouts will only strengthen those top 5 metrics.

Where is the prediction thread? We're going to pound these losers by 2+ TDs.

The most interesting comparison for a 10-2 ND team would be potentially 10-2 Michigan with losses to Ok and OSU. I think ND compares very favorably in that scenario.
