I would also guess it is partly due to the payroll involved with a roster of 12 vs. 85+. In addition, maybe the market hasn’t reached the peaks we’ve already seen in CFB (plus CFB generates a lot more revenue overall). BTW, that top 5 class isn’t the final standing when all is said and done.

Bama is very beatable this year, this isn’t a Saban team. Milroe is prone to mistakes and their running game isn’t great. The WR corps is also not up to recent standards. The D is OK but nothing crazy. The winter weather in SB will not be something they look forward to either.

Gotta hope for Oregon to beat PSU and it not be a close game. Even if not, I’d look forward to seeing AL playing SB 🥶

There are going to be so many players in the portal this year, it’s going to be like a free agent lottery…….bidding wars will be crazy.

I realize that it’s human nature to complain, we all do it. We all want the recruiting classes to be number 1 every year. Even down here there were complaints every year on the Alabama classes when Saban was the coach because the fans never got all the players they wanted the staff to land...

I’m confident the staff is not going to play him unless he has been fully cleared for action.

I think a lot will depend on how they lose. If they lose and the game is close, they may not drop much or at all. If they get whipped then it will definitely cause some drop.

We can only hope Jeter continues to work on his injury recovery and regains his form. There really is no other option at this point since we can‘t pick up a new kicker off the waiver wire.

The height of the USC receivers was evident on all the jump balls and the QB did a nice job with ball placement. When he was under pressure, then he certainly made mistakes but indeed the rush was not getting home consistently.

I think the passing offense is what it is at this point in the season. I would like to see the WRs reduce their drops (Collins especially). Leonard’s running threat is very important to this offense right now.

I highly doubt Mike Brown is going anywhere after less than a year on the job but I suppose stranger things have happened.

I’d wager that the receiving corps that ND faced against USC today is likely better overall than what they’ll see in the CFP.
