You're kind of glossing over the main "wrinkle" in that they played from under center a good amount of the game. That's a pretty huge departure from Rees.
This. Last year, I was nervous every time a QB threw the ball. With Hartman, I'm excited because he makes good decisions and has poise. Leads to WAY less stress during a game
Holy fuck the NBC production of this game is fucking horrible. Camera guy doesn't know where the ball is half the time and there's been like 5 plays cut to mid play because they're showing random shit
Carr just threw a pick on a congested screen. Down 35-3, the kid who picked it ran off the field like he just made the play to win the game. Gave me a hearty laugh.
You do realize that paying high school players to come to ND and playing proven college players can be two completely different things, right? That it's possible to do one and not the other?
And if yours is "Well, I haven't heard anything myself" then I rest mine. Haha If you think Hartman chose ND out of the goodness of his heart and the storied tradition of the Fighting Irish, then I have a bridge to sell you
Because if it wasn't, Hartman would have chosen a different school for WAY more money. You're telling me the best QB in the transfer portal wasn't getting large money offers from other schools? No way. What does he gain at ND? More national profile? He stayed after an OC change like 3 weeks...
Literally caused me to cancel my ND 247 subscription and move it to the Xavier site. Just an absolutely trash example of a lack of journalistic integrity on Loys part.
There's something to be said for how confidently he did games. I mean, if the player was of African descent, the pronunciation was ALWAYS fucked, but God damn was he confident. Haha
True, but word on the street is that Georgia is "processing" him for a higher rated safety and he's going to decommit soon. No idea if ND has a shot, but wouldn't be the worst idea to kick the tires.
