Totally disagree. I do not want ND to be a placeholder until a recruit gets the offer they wanted. Either you commit to ND or you don’t. We have no clue how many recruits may not consider ND because of who is “committed” when they really aren’t.

Disagree. It’s pimping them out for immediate money, not their financial future. From what we’ve seen, a lot of these promised upfront payouts end up not being as promised. No way to ever find out but I would bet Keon and Peyton would end up with more money at ND once they were proven players...

It doesn’t knock them out of the race…the #55 RB committing isn’t going to prevent the #1 RB from committing. If anything, it shows they weren’t in the race.

Who said the university makes money first? Once the university starts making money, part of that should go to the player. I have no idea how a university would make money off a player not enrolled.

It’s the way it should be IMO. NIL was supposed to make sure players get compensated (as they should) when a university is making money off of an athlete’s name, image or likeness. No university has made money off of high school seniors. They make money once you’re on the team so you shouldn’t...

European tour is merging with the PGA and LIV as well. Not sure if it’s good or bad. Similar to the AFL and NFL merging in the 60’s and the ABA and NBA merging in the 70’s. Hopefully they take the good parts of each tour and this stops some of the infighting and makes golf better. Probably will...
