BYU fans just don't know ball, at all. They're not really sports fans. Their allegiance to BYU is tied to their religion. Every year for the Holy War I cheer loudly for Utah because Utes can at least know ball. BYU people know BYU and that BYU has sports teams, but that's it. Probably the only things BYU fans know is dance and cheer as Mormons punch well above their weight class in producing professional dancers.

YEAH. This definitely is only applicable to BYU and ONLY BYU.

Apples to oranges with ND. This board is full of real CFB fans who watch a lot of ball, I assure you that isn't the case up there in Provo. Besides, there are plenty of other Catholic schools in this country.

Although if you polled the number of ND fans who were fans just bc they were the preeminent catholic school in America you’d catch a lot—including a decent number of my family.

Beware of the magic underwear at night. I grew up around a lot of Mormons: they magically slide off when nobody is looking.

It felt like there were reports of some mystery illness afflicting the team before every playoff game a couple of years ago. It seems like there was similar reporting before the USC game last year, but perhaps I could be misremembering.
