It looks like we have enough guys to field a team without him. We lose Faison and Greathouse next year so he can hang in there and get paid for another year after doing nothing.
Does anyone have some meaningful input for Jagusah? Even if he is ready in 3 weeks does he crack the top 5 at this point? This guy really jacked up his career or bought himself some time to grow up and get even bigger and stronger.

I can't wrap my head around how this information isn't known before he signs? Also, I would think a high level athlete would want a surgery as soon as possible if they aren't trending towards being 100% without it.
Just guessing that he was trying to get back without surgery knowing that if he did have the surgery he was done for the year. On NDs side I’m surprised they didn’t try and have him have the surgery a long time ago

Both Greathouse and Faison can come back next year. Not sure if they will but they can

Wonder what his total NIL actually is. Looks like that money should have been spent on upping the offer on KJ Duff.

Brice said that a lot of players who transferred out after last year had to take big pay cuts to come back. If things keep going the way they're going, I wouldn't be surprised if Porter, Graham, and Greathouse are asked to take pay cuts.

If I was Graham and/or Greathouse I wouldn't get too eager to leave unless Carr comes back. The next QB might be more willing to hit the middle of the field more.

The people who said that ND panicked, with respect to WR, after they lost out on Marsh may have been on to something.
I also wonder how Marsh is feeling right now. His QB isn't half of CJ's quality - bet he imagined stats would look a little bit more impressive than this so far, and against the worst part of their schedule. But he's getting paid, so I'm sure he's fine with his decisionScreenshot 2026-09-28 at 1.12.11 PM.png

Mike Frank taking victory laps on ISD, saying the other people were reporting he’d be back.

When seems clear the staff was working to get him back this year due to the Sept “minor procedure to speed up healing” that obviously didn’t work.

So we’ll see how accurate ISD is long term. Seems they just take the worst case scenario and run with it.

Frank doubted Tae is back by Miami and has always held Jagusah won’t play in 2026 so we’ll see.

Did any of you jokers really think Porter was going to see action this year? Always take the over on Freeman's injury updates.

Guilty, I did. Especially when the staff did the "minor procedure to speed up healing" and MF's comments that he's doing individual drills again last week.

Obviously the staff's plans were to play him this year but a set back is a set back.

I have no idea about Tae, but it would shock me if Jagusah ever plays a down again at ND.

My guess is they probably suggested he get the surgery, but he wanted to wait to see if he could get better without it. Particularly when his pay for next year will be dictated by what he does this year. Now that he's done for the year, I expect his pay will be significantly lower next year and there is a chance ND won't want him back.

Wondering how much the emergence of Micah helped here. Maybe saying “he won’t be able to contribute enough this year anyways, let’s get him HEALTHY for next season.”

Given his injury, his lifting might be somewhat limited?

ND will be fine this year without him they are lucky Gilbert is blowing up. There’s also 4-5 hungry underclassmen who have tons of potential. I don’t blame Graham at all either Carr needs to spread the ball out more. Same with Greathouse. Carr tends to feed the hot hand.

If we had Nick Marsh, Reed Harris, or KJ Duff out wide I’d certainly feel better about us winning the title. No one one bats 1.000 on transfers, but we’ve certainly had more hits than misses.

DJ McKinney is probably one of the best CBs in the country and was an afterthought when he initially committed.

Marsh's numbers aren't great, even with a cream-puff schedule. Duff doesn't impresss me at all; runs straight up with no wiggle. Haven't watched Reed Harris play ever.
It stinks Porter can't play, but maybe it raised the level of the other WR's that were already in the room? No one bats .1000 on transfers lol

Our WR room is night and day way better than 2024. Granted we don't have Price or Love but we also have a way better defense too.

FWIW, the II board said he got paid around $2 Million.
No way lol...... whiffing on Marsh to pay him $2M is insannnnnnnneeeeeeee.... can't possibly be true

With that being said, I'm not sure how much better Marsh is than Gilbert, and I'm a huge fan of Marsh. I feel like there is a pretty big dropoff from the top 4 of Smith >>> Toney, Coleman, Becker.

$2 million is the number from January

Boundary starting portal WR numbers were $1+. Marsh was north of 2

Sucks.

Faison, Gilbert, Greathouse and Coop Flanigan in the pass game. We ride.

Hope he's able to come back and earn some of that money for us next season.
